Lost power this fall (ambient ~55*F weather, 72-70*F inside overnight). This had just arrived so I pulled it out. It did a good job of keeping me not cold but certainly not toasty. It also didn't help being on an air bed that likely doesn't do a great job of heat retention like a mattress. It looks nice in the golden lion color and a good grab for going on the couch so it's a keeper but I will be ordering a wool blanket to layer under it. Be ready for the next power outage folks! Despite not being really heavy, this large blanket is enough to keep warm during the winter in addition to a sheet, and that is for someone who easily gets too cold to sleep in the colder months. Both sides are very soft and comfortable. Due to the size, I do have to flip it around and dry it a couple times in the dryer to get it fully dry (and I don't have a really small dryer), but that is expected. I ordered 2 blankets, two and queen. Had a problem with arrival of queen, wrong color but it was corrected right away. These are soft and warm. My only negative is that I have cats and their claws get stuck on the colored side. It has caused all kinds of runs and small holes. Since this isn't the company's issue I did not ding them for it, but I am a little sad that I didn't realize it would happen at all. ... show more

I bought 4 of these beautiful light green throws. I washed in cold water and hung dry (do not use heat to dry sherpa because it will not be as soft). They weathered washing very well. I do not Write reviews often. I was a little disappointed when I looked and noticed ther was a hole in it and it dose not get a lot of use. It got 2 stars because of how soft it is but would recommend looking at other options. Edit: The company reached out to me and sent me a new one fantastic customer service.
