It's very large & is big and roomy for my bed. I use it with a sheet and it's cozy and very warm . Don't let it's thin ness fool you . It's not bulky and heavy but is cozy and warm . Most comfortable blanket I have ever had . Has some weight to it but it's not super heavy . Perfect I'm every way . Haven't washed it, just got it . A great value at $50 . You won't be disappointed ! It was my cat's favorite box..oh wait. You want a review of the blanket . Ok. It was super soft right out of the box. A little lighter than I expected but it's super warm and I could not believe how warm it was. Hubby was pleasantly surprised as well. My older cat isn't a fan of the texture, but I don't buy this to make her happy! Her little brother, on the other hand, can't stop making biscuits on it! I think eventually my female cat will love it as much as I do, but for now, I'll enjoy cuddles outside the blanket from her and stay warm in the winter! ... show more

I put it in the laundry on gentle cycle right out of the package before using it, and it washed very well and made it even fluffier, after taking it out of the shrink wrap it comes in. I bought 4 of these beautiful light green throws. I washed in cold water and hung dry (do not use heat to dry sherpa because it will not be as soft). They weathered washing very well. I'm just crazy about them, such softness !!! My dog loves them too. They are a bit thin but that does not affect their warmth, especially the sherpa side. Highly recommend !!! ... show more
