  • Love this
Color: Blue
I was looking for a water bottle that fit in my purse better that the round bottle style. This is perfect and the slip case prevents condensation . This has to be washed by hand. I learned that the hard way with the first one I bought. One trip through the dishwasher on the top rack distorted the shape and the lid fit but leaked afterwards. Very happy to have found a replacement. ... show more

  • It’s ok but
Color: Blue
The blue sleeve keeps falling off. So it’s a pain to keep up with. Other than that it does what it’s supposed to do.

  • slick, odorless 12oz. flask!
Color: Blue
this is a very slick, odorless 12oz. flask, that stows easily in a coat pocket or cargo pant pocket, with all the qualities of the Nalgene line. even with a sub half full flask of h20 left in the vehicle or your pack/rucksack for a long period, there is still no odor. ... also, if you place something other than h20 in the flask, there is no lingering taste or odor of that item. it is made of Eastman Tritan coplyester, since 2007, when Nalgene switched to it, from HDPE, as a superior material for the Nalgene line. it is heat & chemical resistant, as well as BPA-free, clear, strong, and durable. this is our 2nd purchase of this bottle, after 2 years of excellent, odorless performance, only because it fell out of the vehicle and was run over by the wheel, before it was rescued 🤕 ... ... the following are our observations from 2 years with this flask; | pros | • no odor • impact-resistant (very durable…i dare say, unbreakable!, aside from under a 2-ton vehicle) • stain-resistant • clarity - lang lasting clearness • BPA-Free • lightweight • leak-free top with no rubber seal required ... seals 100%, with a good threaded fit, by threading it down firmly • fits nicely in a coat pocket or cargo pant pocket • ideal size for minimalist, solo, short hikes or a handy vehicle h2o bottle | cons | • none this is a superb 12 oz. flask. below are links to the 32 oz. (1 qt.) Oasis Canteens, which replicate the same volume and shape of the standard military canteen, with the same Nalgene standard of odor-free performance and durability... these Nalgene 1qt canteens also fit perfectly into military canteen covers and military canteen cup, should you happen to have these items on hand and just need a new odor-free canteen or two! :-) (i am former Navy & Army, with lots of 1qt canteen experience... i updated all my kits to Nalgene and sure would have loved a Nalgene over the stinky, od green plastic, when i served!) Nalgene BPA Free Tritan Oasis Canteen 32 Oz Narrow Mouth Bottle, Red Nalgene Oasis 1qt Canteen Bottle - 2 Pack (Coyote) very pleased, Thank you! :-) ... show more

  • Good Pocket Container for carrying Water
Color: Blue
I have to carry water for my dry mouth issues at all times. This fits well in my shirt pocket. Be sure to tighten cap strong to prevent leaks. If you overflow be sure to shake water out of case

  • Easy to pack but hard to clean
Color: Blue
Sleeve takes up too much room as does the 1oz cap/cup. Tool both off and it is much better. Cap is pretty small and wish it was like the grippy 1 liter nalgene bottles. Neck hole is small so water or vodka only as there is now way to really clean the inside.

  • Nice Flask for Camping... Bar hopping?
I like to carry some booze with me when both bar hopping, and camping. For camping, this is perfect. For the Bars, it's good and bad. The flask: *It has some measurements on it *Shot glass *The outer shell is a cup itself, so bring some mixers! *NO LEAKS Camping: I brought this flask with me on a month bicycle camping trip. To save weight I didn't bring a cup for coffee and stuff like that. I used this cup every morning for coffee. It holds more than a cup and it's plastic, so it is somewhat insulated for those cold mornings. I loved it. The shape isn't the greatest for stability, but its a small price to pay to save space. Surprisingly, though, I had no spills. And don't forget, the flask holds your booze. Bar Hopping: Its a little big to fit in my pocket and be very conspicuous. That's not to say it isn't possible, but its right on the verge of being too big and fitting if that makes any sense. This is its biggest weakness, but also its biggest strength. It would be the most you could ever bring into the bar. I spent a lot of time with the "standard" metal flasks and although very conspicuous, when you share with someone, its not enough. Some seem to think that carrying flasks is somewhat taboo, but when you pull out a flask in the bar, everyone wants a swig. The nalgene flask carries like 50% more than the standard. All the more to share unless you are George Thurgood and "drink alone". Pretty nice!! NOTE: I choose to use the standard flask when I go to the bars. I like to keep the bulges in my pants down to the bare minimum. ... show more

  • This flask is misunderstood.
#1 - It comes with a black, plastic shot glass on top. Just pull it off and toss it in the garbage. Beneath it is a regular, clear, plastic screw-top lid like you can find on any other water bottle. #2 - This flask is the perfect size for a casual day-hike, or just walking about town and doing your business. So far my thirst has never exceeded the amount of liquid it can hold. #3 - It's slender and seems to be perfectly fitted for mesh side pockets such as can be found on just about every backpack. #4 - It has an easily removable red plastic sleeve. Not exactly sure what it's for, but it can be useful. If you slide it in the mesh side pocket (see #3), it forms a pocket that you can just drop the flask into. Likewise, if your pack is crammed full it leaves a space open that you can just drop the flask into. Also, you could probably drill some small holes into it and use some wire to mount it on something. Or you could just throw it out. #5 - The flask is made of sturdy-yet-flexible Nalgene plastic. According to the Nalgene website it's BPA, BPS and Phthalate Free. I ordered two and liked them so much I'm ordering two more because I can't be sure they'll be available next time I need to buy some (see negative reviews). And no, I'm not being paid by Nalgene. I'm just hoping that everybody starts using these so people don't think I'm guzzling booze every time I bring it out. ... show more
