This brings back a few nostalgic memories. :) Pros: 1) Device itself is very well made. Not flimsy. Great miniature version of a full sized arcade game complete with artwork. 2) Sounds just like the arcade game. Volume control. 3) Display is nice and simulates the arcade game in all it's 16 bit animated glory. 4) Takes 4 AA batteries or micro USB connector for power. I would put a caveat here. If you intend to power it via USB, the user manual says the device takes 5V, 250ma. This amperage is relatively low power. Check your USB power. Most modern USB adaptors use 5V 1A or 5V 2A which will probably fry the electronics of the video game. If your game dies suddenly, this is probably why. I am using an adaptor from an old NON-smart phone. It outputs 5V, 500ma which should be OK. If you have a universal adaptor, you could go down to 5V, 300ma which is better. 5) It cost me $12 and change for this game. I'm guessing the low price is due to people wanting to buy the Galaga version of this game and not buy Galaxian. Cons: None. It's a very good product for this type of video game. ... show more

I needed a replacement part for this Galaxian arcade game. The plastic "door" that hold the batteries in place was broken. I contacted Amazon and they offered to replace the entire product. I told them I'd rather just get a replacement part which probably costs next to nothing and no doubt the company has no shortage of these are it is the same part that goes on all their arcade games. Amazon called them with me on hold and did not get through. They gave me the phone # and I called. I got a nice recording saying to leave a message "after the beep" and they would promptly get back to me as they really wanted to solve my problem (or something to that effect). Only problem....there is no "beep" on their recording and it is not possible to leave a message. So I went to their website and filled out a request for help filling out all of their form with all of the necessary information. What happened after I did that? Nothing. No response. Absolutely nothing. So I give Amazon kudos for sticking behind their sale and I give My Arcade a big F as they could care less about standing behind their product and customer service. ... show more

I feel like a7 year old kid in the arcade when i first got the batteries in this and pressed start. i am almost 42 years old btw. God Bless who ever came up with this idea.

Very nice product - absolutely amazing that a full color screen and original game play fits in such a small thing. Awesome and very good value. Only thing I wish it did was remember my previous high score when I turn it on. Not worth deducting a star for though.

Wow, all the My Arcade mini classic arcade machines are fantastic!! If you remember going into arcades and putting tons of quarters in these machines then this will bring back some memories. They have the original art and you can start a collection of them. If you are to young to remember the original machines then this is a cheap way to see what is was all about. ... show more

It's just like the arcade game! Has good sound and graphics. It's nice having a volume control. Nice with power and batteries! It can travel, it's small enough and very light. That's my only down it is small and hard to see where shots are going. Still love it!
