This was my first basket purchase. That was several years ago. It has been used, abused, neglected, and spent a lot of time in the elements in Texas. Amazingly it is still in great shape. Easy to move around the yard or carry in the car. It's a precision chain set so it's a lot smaller than a standard set. If you get used to it, it makes the course basket and chains seem like a much bigger target. That will translate to fewer strokes on the course. ... show more

Great looking basket, sturdy, and easy to assemble. The base anchors are a nice accessory. Perfect target to improve your putting stroke and accuracy. Shipping was fast. Extremely happy with this purchase! Update: Today was the first time I made it out to the course after practicing on my new basket for several weeks. The Mach 3’s at my home course looked so enormous and made for an easy target. This basket will improve your putting no doubt. Also, I’ve started putting at night and to keep down the noise I remove the chains and putt at the pole. The design of this basket makes this a very easy task. Update 2: I’ve had this basket for a couple of years now, left it outside 90% of the time-exposed to the elements—and it has not rusted. It still looks great. By contrast, my old Discatcher had several rusted chains and a few rusty spots on the band. Keep in mind, the Discatcher cost nearly 4x more than this little Black Hole. This basket is perfect for putting practice! When it is nice outside, I can easily take it outside. When it’s cold, I can easily take it back to my basement to practice down there. My 3 sons and I are loving being able to have the perfect practice basket so we have an edge when we get out to the course! Also- I can’t believe how easy these are to assemble and disassemble!     • Good overall. Store indoors and it will improve your game
It's overall a good practice target. Really helps your game to have a smaller target to practice on before playing with regulation larger targets. It catches discs ok and does what is intended. The only downside is I can already tell with just a few months outside it won't hold up in the rain. My other DGA practice basket has been in the weather for 3 years and has very little sign of wear. This one is showing weather damage after just a few months it's already sticking. Break it down and store it indoors and problem solved. If you don't want to have to do this... It’s not the most sturdy but it’s fine for practice. Some perfect putts will bounce out cause there is one layer of chains. It’s not suitable for a course but for practice it’s perfect

Bought the regular size basket two years ago. Still in great shape though being outside for two years. I hope this one will be equally durable. Price was right and the quality seems as good as the first one I purchased. I’m hoping the smaller chain space makes me a better putter😉
