The Muziclight 2.0 has a sleek modern appeal and looks awesome in all-black. I hanged mine using the drywall anchors and fastening screws that came with it. Easy to install and they look pretty good. The blue lights match the other blue LED's in my music room. If I have to find something, I don't like the switches on the side. Very cheap and flimsy feeling. Otherwise, I like them but I honestly think they're overpriced. I'd buy again, at least for now.

This is the cat's meow! It looks like it's floating in thin air (hope it holds). I just used the sheetrock screws that came with the holder, may change them out with the butterfly anchors? Getting another one for my fender acoustic guitar.

I ordered this with an assumption it was going to have a mass produced cheap "wish" feel to it. That being said I couldn't be more surprised with how well built this wall mount is. I love illumination and this enhances my space so well. From the mount itself, to even the enclosed mounting hardware, everything about this speaks quality. Brought for Christmas gift. Easy install, the light you have to manually turn on with a switch on the mount. Once the light is on, (we bought red) rather it be day or night it showcases the guitar nicely.

While the MuzicLight is a bright idea, the actual product isn't very pleasing to the eye. First of all, the company has its branding all over the item. So, despite the company's description of "a handsome plastic housing," unless you want to do free advertising for the MuzicLight company in your home, you'll have to cover the product with contact paper or something. I used a peel 'n stick mirror sheet. Secondly, the light itself is poorly designed. I ordered white, but the light is decidedly a harsh yellow. Further, the little bulbs situated inside the product are poorly placed and create a hard cut on the wall. The light does not smoothly, evenly spread across the wall. The effect is a far cry from the promise that "the crystal white rays that shine from your beloved instrument's headstock while resting in our bracket resemble that of a sunset through the clouds over the Pacific Ocean." Though I wouldn't say the mount is super sturdy, I'm satisfied that the MuzicLight is well-secured to the wall -- and it does fit my banjo. I just wish the makers of Muziclight had put as much thought and care into their product as they put into their advertising copy. ... show more
