I have to crimp battery terminals every day, so it needs to be a good crimper. This thing is a piece of junk! It’s only a 6 sided crimp instead of eight. It does not crimp evenly, no matter which size did you use. Spend the extra money and get a tool that won’t leave you wishing you’d have bought better ... show more

If you have no special requirements, it works well. I like it, and I have used it to make over 30 crimps at this time. The choice of die is a bit of an acquired skill, but then again, when doing hand work, what skill isn't? Only downside? The dies are not tightly registered to the frame, so when you are crimping, you need to make sure the dies are parallel. Easy enough to do. This sucker is strong enough to correct any mistakes you might make. You will make mistakes the first 10 crimps you make. It's a good buy, very happy with it. Nice case also.... ... show more
