so I’m gonna first start off with how long it took me to build the bed. It took me about four hours by myself to do it. It wasn’t too hard just time-consuming. It is possible to build it by yourself because that’s how I did it. The only part that was difficult to me to do by myself was to, put the two pieces together because they both have to be standing up and you have to screw it onto the end of the bed. It’s possible just have side against the wall and the other side, leaning onto it and then adjust the position of the frame all of it is just , able to screw together with an Allen wrench and then another difficult part was putting the mattress onto the bed, but I figured it out. I am about 160 pounds. I have not bought it into the wall yet but it feels sturdy enough to wear. I could last without it it does shake a little bit, but nothing too scary. The steps do hurt so I put a blanket over and it’s just fine. from the bottom of the bedframe to the top, it’s about 6 feet so I would encourage to have 7 1/2 to 8 feet tall ceilings because then you could have space to set up in your bed. I think that it is very much worth the money and feels like it is going to Last. I do recommend this product. ... show more

This bed is way better than most I have seen. Plus I have not ever seen a bed this low priced. It is really sturdy . It is all bolted together with heavy duty machine screws. It's lightweight yet does not wobble or tweak when you move it. around.. I am going to buy another as a Christmas gift.

This is is a really good bed, really tough and sturdy metal, however it is quite high, higher then a normal bunk bed, I’m tall so my head hit the ceiling, we had to lower them, there is one the one set of precut holes so if you need to lower them you are going to have to cut your own holes and it’s deff not the easiest to do you have to have a powerful drill and even then put all your weight into it, the screws it comes with strip extreamly easily so I would recommend nuts and bolts instead in case you need to make any changes to it, there is no cut out for the ladder area though so you have to either leave the last railing off at the end and get mattress stoppers to keep it from sliding off, (unless you can find a replacement railing that has the cut out but I can’t find one) or you have to climb over it every time witch is inconvenient and a bit painful, my sis and I got many bruises on our inner thighs from climbing over it to get up and down and we ended up haveing to sleep under it on the mattress on the floor until we got supplies to lower it and mattress stoppers to fix it ... show more

Even though we didn’t use it after ordering I would say the material and quality of this product is great, and assembly is easy , it’s a great value for what you payed for . I would recommend buying on top of that great space saver .

It's very complicated and came with a ton of pieces but the end result was eventually well worth it when we put his desk under it. He sleeps really well on it.

We have 2 boys my one is 54 pounds and the other one is 100 pounds and this is supposed to hold up to 3 or 400 pounds but it definitely shakes a lot and I don't like how the ladder is not opened its not safe for the kids to get down off of and I'm just very scared the kids might fall off or get hurt on.
