The best life vest is the one you never have to use. This one was purchased specifically for a fly-in fishing trip to northern Quebec. Summertime water temp is in the low 60’s and can quickly become incapacitating so good PFD’s are a must. This fits the bill nicely. There are plenty of vests available at lower prices, but the Mustang brand is high quality and very reliable.
