It’s light and mostly comfortable. I’m a taller guy and the life jacket does push up on the neck. I would probably buy another but I would try one of the other mustang life jackets on first. I use it all the time. The best part about this one compared to the other inflatable life jackets is where the pull handle is located. It is easily accessible but it also will not get pulled on accident compared to the other inflatable ones on the market ... show more

Comfortable vest but for a small women like me it puffs out in the back. Probably great for a larger person. The 3 stars is due to the following things that I did not realize when I purchased the vest. 1-not designed for activities such as water skiing, riding personal watercraft. 2-checking that the cylinder is full should be periodically checked and if red must be rearmed. 3-to rearm the vest you need to purchase the Mustang Survival Re-arm kit. 4-suggested that a record be kept on the inspections. 5-the US Coast Guard recommends purchasing 2 rearming kits; one to be used immediately in ‘testing’ the automatic inflation system and the other to carry as a spare. 6- It is NOT recommended for weak or non-swimmers. Therefore not for me due to too much servicing needs and I am not a good swimmer. I just need a simple- good life vest. ... show more

I’ve always wanted a Mustang life jacket and I’m glad I finally have one. It’s fits like a glove and is very compact for what it delivers. Extremely comfortable and perfect location for the manual handle release. Some life jackets have an exposed yellow tab that hangs down precariously and if caught on something can accidentally release the compressed air filling up the life jacket. This model has the release handle located perfectly away from accidental discharge. If you want the best life jacket this is the one for you. ... show more

This thing fits me well and I’m a big guy. I really think I’ll wear this all day fishing. I got it on sale at a decent price. It would be nice if it came in a mesh bag for storage in a boat compartment.
