I'm addicted to these type of earphones! I already bought a sleep mask from the same company. They both have the same quality, which please me immensely. UPDATE: I'm sad to report that I've been getting headaches from this item. The band squeezes too much from extended wear. But I found a hack to decrease the tension it causes. HACK: If you feel like the band is too tight, move the control out of the "pocket" and let it float in the headband while wearing. It decreases the tension and is still usable. Solved my headaches I got from wearing it. :) FABRIC AND WASHABILITY: This is a lightweight headband type pair of earphones. It has breathable fabric, like those stretchy type shirts you use for working out. I'm just worried the stretchy feel will become "too stretchy" over time. I imagine after washing it and drying, it will retain it's original shape. And yes it's washable. You can remove the electronics part as a unit. You need to remove all at same time because it's all attached together. There is room to slide them through, it entails stretching the fabric to pry it out. USES: I plan to use it to go walking outdoors and while on treadmill while watching my shows on tablet. I also think I can squeeze in meditation sessions and perhaps to work as a delivery driver. BUTTONS: Sensitive to touch. The placement of buttons are above the buttons you see on the headband. It makes a clicky sound. The forward and back buttons will take you to and from the next song by pressing once. Holding it down will increase or decrease sound. The middle button (power button) serves as a pause and play button. I have not tested answering or rejecting a phone call via buttons yet. You cannot feel the buttons individually, you'll just have to get used to it. BATTERY: Long battery life. It seems to last longer than my phone, lol! I'm a heavy phone user so my phone doesn't last as long as it should. I'll update with how many hours on average I was able to use. BLUETOOTH: I was able to set my phone down, walk away outside and scold my dogs for harassing the neighbors, lol! That's at least one wall between my phone and headset with no disruption. PHONE CALLS: I already received a phone call through this set. Caller was able to hear me clearly and I could hear them as well. Such a great plus. SIZE: I'm not used to wearing things on my forehead, so I guess it will take getting used to. I decided to file the front half inward, to give my face breathing room...we already have to wear masks outside our homes. My face feels overwhelmed by the size of it, by folding it in half at the front area, it did not disrupt the electronics. AS A SLEEP MASK: You can pull these over your eyes like a sleep mask. It's not a complete darkness like the other set the store sells. But for quick naps on the go or a meditation session, it's great. SOUND: Generally great. IT IS NOT SOUND CANCELLATION HEADPHONES. The speakers sit next to your ears. The sound gets loud enough to enjoy music and phone calls but noise will come through. I like that because for the purposes I need them for, I need to hear surrounding noises. While walking outdoors, is a matter of safety. As a food delivery driver, I hate having to remove ear pieces to speak to customers or restaurant hosts. NOTE: My phone has an app that came with it that affects sounds quality. It's a Motorola G Stylus. The app makes sounds louder and more crisp. I think this can greatly affect your enjoyment of these earphones. Try to download an app to increase the quality before giving up on this set. I'm planning on buying more for gift giving :) ... show more

My husband had gifted me the adjustable bad sleep version. I never listen to anything when I go to sleep, but I do always wear a sleep mask. I found that I use it for some meditation/hypnosis sessions prior to bed, and I like to have light blocked out when I do so. Make it nice for that. But I decided I wanted something similar that I could wear when I dont want to cover my eyes. I looked to see if Music Cozy had any, and sure enough they do. The unit inside (speaker plus control box) absolutely can all come out. I find it easier on this than the sleep one I have. They also carry just the unit itself for purchase. I'm pleased with the sound. Really sounds pretty darn good. And the comfort. Just feels like a lightweight headband, something I already often wear. It does not feel like there are speakers in it. Would be totally unnoticeable if this head band had the controls at nape of neck instead of at forehead. Anyway, I dont use earbuds, and this is so much nicer. Not sure how it holds up to sweat, but we will find out. I have a big head, 23.75", and this fits fine. Plenty of stretch, doesnt feel tight to me. I put it on and adjusted it first to situate on my ears, then I put rest into place. I think this might be a spot of trouble for some people. Noise cancellation? It really isnt that style. I can definitely hear the music just fine, and it supersedes anything else in the room. But I am not blocked from the sounds around me. When I have this going and take it off, I dont hear sounds coming from it. That is nice to know.. that only I can hear what I am listening to. So yeh, it has to be directly on ears. Wont hear anything with band around neck or something. Going with 5 stars because it meets or exceeds my expectations. ... show more

    • Sleep worthy headphone. Comfy decent sound.

I love earbuds but it turns out ear canals are more complex than you would think. They have an elaborate self cleaning anti+infection mechanism that is theater when you block the opening. Plus heat and humidity, lack of ventilation, according to what I read, encourage infection. One doctor said to only use them once hour a day. Others say limit use. I was wearing them many hours a day and got the unpleasant symptoms. Stopped and they cleared up. I needed an alternative. This was my choice for long term. And might use. They have many great pictures. First I will get sound quality put off the way. For how small, flat and light the speakers are it is surprisingly good. Still not my choice for enjoying music over other options. Good enough though especially good for spoken word If I position the adjustable speaker locations right over my ears they are plenty loud. Otherwise not. The speakers are so flat and well cushioned that I can lie on side for hours with no discomfort. Amazing. The key to lying on the speaker is to position it carefully. If it is not in the right position it is less comfortable. It's the same key to getting a good volume. Even a slight displacement of the speaker from being right over the ear canal causes a big drop in volume. There is plenty of flexibility in the headband to position the speakers, pushing them into place, where they tend to stay. I suspect that people with small ears might find them less comfortable to lie on. The speakers have a diameter of one inch or 25mm. My conjecture is that if the speaker can nestle inside the "helix" of the "pinna" or outer ear, it will be very comfortable. If the pinna is smaller, it may not be as comfortable to lie on, as the edge of the speaker will press on the helix. With the right pillow or pillows it may be possible to make a space for the speaker so it doesn't press hard against the pinna. Easy controls and charging and good battery life... Surprising because they didn't weigh much more than a headband. I have had good Bluetooth connectivity. What I really like is can gold the front in half to cover the controls and push the speakers up above ears. It looks and works just like a headband. If the speakers are a bit lower they are still hidden by over East haircut. I can still operate the hidden front controls. It works like headphones but appears to be just a headband. The fabric is soft. All the electronics are removable for washing if I am out and about and want better audio quality I can pop in ear buds without removing it. Product is better than expected.
