After two destroyed box springs from a sensory seeking 6 year old, we had to look for something more durable to take on his flying leaps from the window sill to the bed (don’t worry- he’s safe when doing so) we bought this metal bed frame with the intent to not use a box spring. It’s the perfect height for our little guy and he can jump and butt-bomb as much as he wants and nothing breaks! It is a bit squeaky- they give you adhesive cushions to help with that but it’s a little noisy still but our kiddo doesn’t mind it and we can’t hear it in the bedroom next to him.     • doesn't align

I'm finally getting around to putting this thing together after having it for about a month. The screws are too short for the head of the bed to be screwed in. However, once I was able to accomplish that, after tweaking it a bit, even after attaching the middle part that should've helped to align it, but there was a slant to the alignment which caused some trouble getting the slats into the frame. So, it's either warped and defective, or the screw holes are not aligned properly. I also noticed the screw holes to the foot and head of the frame to be elongated and contribute to the lack of any alignment being readily achieved. It seems to be sturdy but can be a hassle to put together. I hope it works out. Sorry, only 4 stars because of the difficulty putting it together. ... show more

We got this bed for our middle son because our older son has a bed almost exactly like this. I put this bed together all by myself and didn’t even have to ask my husband or get mad. Lol. I was very proud of myself. Our son loves his new bed.

Updated to 3 stars and will update to 5 if the product works out. Disappointed 😞 This frame doesn't fit together well at all. Once assembled if you try to move it, it falls apart.     • Bars breaking
The bars that hold up the mattress within 3 months are bending and breaking. I bought this for my preteen daughter who doesn't jump into the bed or anything like that to cause this and of course to late to return it and doesn't seem like there is any manufacturer warranty on it.

    • Won't stay steady
It was easy to assemble. It needs tightened almost 2x a week. I can not get the bed to stay steady. I followed all directions. They should have provided locking washers with the installation kit.

I ordered this for my guest bedroom, the assembly was super straight forward and not frustrating at all (like most inline furniture). Previous comments said it squeaked but I put it together per the directions and mine doesn’t make any noise, I even have it in hardwood floors. The space under it is great for storage and cats the hide :) ... show more
