It’s a good and sturdy bed frame. Some of the pieces came a little bent at the ends but the metal was thin enough we were able to very easily bend them right back to how they were supposed to be. They were pieces you wouldn’t see because the mattress sits on them, so it doesn’t bother us at all. The bed didn’t creak at first but after a few months it started to make some noise getting in and out of bed. Nothing major but still something to note. UPDATE: 4 star Sellers reached out via email and sent a replacement. The layout of the replacement bed frame is MUCH better than the first. They have fixed the major issues with the king size frame! The new build is much sturdier and has no wobble to it like the first one did and so far the frame hasn’t caved in. I’ve had it set up for a couple of weeks now, if it caves in I’ll come back and add that to this review. Over all I’d say I’m happy with the replacement product and very happy with the way everything was handled and the communication that was made to make sure we got a replacement. Old review: 1 star Haven’t even had it a month and it’s already caved in. My husband and I bought this because it’s supposed to hold more weight. Waste of money. Horrible product. Very wobbly once built but we were able to fix that issue and now this. Ridiculous. ... show more

Black metal bed frame. The bed frame comes in a big box and it is self assembly. The frame is sturdy once put together, and has a simple assembly. Overall, happy with this purchase. If I was given the option I like this one and how light weight it is. Would buy again.

    • Size doesn’t fit king mattress
Assembly a bit long but not awful. I have a king mattress 80inches in length, assembled this frame is just over 79 inches. Unfortunately. Edit: customer service contacted me and offered a $20 refund for my concern with frame size since the difference wasn’t just one inch. The measurements of the frame in the add are exterior not interior measurements. In my opinion if it’s labeled as kind mattress frame it should be able to fit a king bed. Trying to cram in a king bed into this frame just bows out the frame and makes it unusable for an 80in log mattress. They did end up giving me a full refund so I will increase the rating to 4/5. ... show more

    • took about an hour to assemble - does NOT require springs
I just got it together and it seems very stable. I like how easy it was to put together - lots of pieces but keep them organized. The headboard and Foot-board are sized for a MATTRESS ... not box springs AND a mattress as we have - we don't care that both are hidden behind our now kinda high guest bed. Short folks might need a step stool. Our tiny daughter blew out the frame we had on this king before ... so this replaced a super cheap, wrong sized frame! The plastic inserts on all the 'feet' are good enough to protect your floor but we put felt feet on each leg anyway just to be sure. I'd buy this again as of right now. EDIT to update to 5 star as the customer service is excellent and I am satisfied with their solutions to my initial displeasure. They truly care about their customers and will make it right. EDIT to update my 1 star to a 3 star. Customer service refunded me for a portion of the product which was nice. It was still disappointing that there were missing pieces and damaged pieces, however the frame has been sturdy and I’m happy that they cared to refund me for the money I spent in new pieces plus a little extra. Upon arrival there were several missing bolts that we had to replace ourselves at the local hardware store. The frame itself was also scuffed and scraped in multiple places and it wouldn’t buff out. I contacted customer service and they wanted picture proof which I happily provided, although I can’t take pictures of missing bolts so I provided pictures of the receipts from our local hardware store to prove that we had to replace the missing bolts. After providing proof, they have not responded to me to let me know their solution. Once we were able to put the frame together, it was a quick and simple process and the frame itself seems sturdy. So I would say the product itself is nice but I am unhappy with the missing pieces, damaged product, and customer service not getting back to me. ... show more

Not a good choice for king size bed. It wobbles after one night. My son has the queen version and it's fine. That being said, the king size head and footboard in are 3 sections which causes the wobble. It needs an X brace across the back for stability. ***I found a way to fix the wobble. If you bought this bed and are like me "not taking it apart to send back". Go to the hardware store, get (16) 1 1/2 in L brackets and a package of Original JB Weld for metal to metal. Put them in the inside corners on the lowest bar of the headboard and footboard top and bottom. I did it at 6 in the morning so that the epoxy had all 15 hours to harden and cure before we slept on it again. This worked like a charm!!! My husband is a very large man (6'6 tall and weighs 275) and he is not careful. I was a little worried his flopping into bed or even turning over in his sleep might break the "weld", but it's still quite stable. ... show more

Super easy to assemble. It is pretty easy to shred the bolts when you try to tighten them. It is SUPER squeaky unlike what the product description says.
