The assembly wasn't the best but it was manageable. In the documentation it stated assembly would be completed in 30 minutes. It took us over an hour, so not too far off I guess. There are a lot of little screws needed for assembly, so be prepared to be on your knees for a while when you are building. Overall the frame has performed great so far. Something you may want to know, the frame bars are not attached but rest on brackets underneath. However, it seems to be pretty sturdy with lots of support. I would recommend this to anybody who has a king size mattress they need to support. Note, we do not have a box spring, just a mattress. So my experience may differ in that regard. ... show more

Kind of blew me away at how small the box it came in was. Item did include tools, but the allen wrench that was included was cheap soft steel and had deformed 1/2 way through assembly. I would make sure you have your own allen wrench on hand. Assembly was pretty easy, but it does seem fairly light duty. the frame was actually a little oversized for our standard king (nearly 2 inches of steel sticking out either side) Slept on it two nights and it seems fine, but I would definitely worry about extra curricular night time activities being performed in the bed on such a light duty frame. ... show more

I don’t know how anyone could think this is a quality bed frame. The bars that go across as support just lay on top of tiny badly welded metal pieces. If you move the mattress around the bars fall off and you have to put them back. My 4 year old climbed on the bed and one of the bars slipped off, and the welded part bent, cutting him on his leg. He’s only 45 lbs and the weight limit is way higher. This bed is horrible. I don’t know why they wouldn’t secure the bars better. I’m so mad about this purchase. The bars should have a screw to hold them in place. Bed constantly falls apart and I have to put a plastic storage bin under the hole where I can no longer lay a bar. I could probably find a better bed frame in someone’s trash. ... show more

So the cross pieces are not locked in or bolted in place.. they are just placed in a groove.. so we have two or three of the pieces out at the end of the day with kids jumping on the beds.. if we didn't have kids.. it would be great! And read the instructions...

    • Don’t waste your time
Save your time and money. Unfortunately I couldn’t even get past the 2nd page of instructions on building it due to the meal not aligning. In order to make it work you would have had to drill the holes again. Definitely not worth it.
