    • Arrived with part of the cover ripped
I bought this as a gift to be mailed for Christmas. It took so long to be delivered, which was disappointing considering that I ordered it way before Christmas, so by the time it arrived, there was no time to return and ask for a replacement. I ended up mailing it the way it was with the soft cover over the hard cover being bent and part of it ripped. There was another part inside the book’s hard cover that was ripped too! I am still embarrassed for having to send a damaged item as a Christmas gift, which could have given the impression that I bought them a second hand book while in reality I paid for and bought a brand new book. I am hoping the amazing pictures and text of this book would compensate for the looks of the book because the person I sent it to is an old car lover and he appreciates the information and pictures from the book. Every page is glossy and the quality of the pictures is great so if you receive a book that is not damaged, it makes a good gift! ... show more

    • Superb Printing on High Quality Paper
I've been a muscle-car fan since the 1960's so the vast majority of the autos in this book are quite familiar to me. However, there are quite a few cars that don't, at least in my opinion, fall into the "muscle car" category . For example two "woodys" can hardly be placed in the same category as a Hemi Barracuda or a GTO. All in all, the book is well worth the price and the photography is amazing. If I were to offer one suggestion it would be to eliminate some of the cars that don't fit the muscle car category and enlarge the stories on those that do. ... show more
