  • Great product makes great beer!
Color: Irish Stout
Love it, easy to do, add some extra goodies, and you have a good beer!!

  • It's Not a "Kit"
Color: Pale Ale
I opened the box and had a 'caveat emptor' moment. By "kit" Munton means a 3.3 lb can of liquid malt extract and a small packet of an unnamed yeast. How are you going to make 5 gallons of .1050 specific gravity wort - as they advertise - from 3.3 lbs of LME? Separately these items would would cost far less and you could select the quality. Not worth $30. The whole range of these "kit" products are a sad rip-off. Shame. ... show more

  • Great Beer
Color: American Light
Makes a great, crisp beer. Hope they never stop producing this.

  • Easy brewing for and old guy after many years of 60 minute mashes.
Color: Irish Stout
Boil a minimum amount of water add some extra hops while doing so and pour into your fermenter along with some gallons of cold water and your Muntons beer mix. Stir and add some dry malt extract stir again and after fermentation you will have some pretty good brew to enjoy. Love these kits having used a good number in the past as they are easy to use and cut your brewing time quite considerably. Give them a try I think you will like them. ... show more

  • Was worth the time, money and effort
Color: Pilsner
This one turned out better than the Mr. Beer kits I tried. It almost tasted like a cross between a Heineken and a Budweiser. Not a hugh fan of Budweiser, so I'll probably not do this one again.

  • It's a good 3 4 beer.
Color: Mexican Cerveza
Was rather weak for a homebrew, but still good.

  • Great base malt worth the cost
Color: Pilsner
Perfect base malt for light beers when I do not have the time to do an all grain run. I use this with DME to create a light and simple base for a summer peanutbutter or blood orange pilsner.

  • Tried hard to make this work...
Color: Mexican Cerveza
...but it still tasted off. I added some DME and a few flavoring hops, because I like my beer a bit more full-flavored. The finished product had an off after taste. Sour and bitter (not in a good bitter hoppy way). With the Covid-19, I thought I'd skip my run to our local brewery supply store, and order a kit. I actually forgot how bad kit beer was. It's drinkable, but I sure won't be buying a product like this anytime soon again. ... show more
