Perfecty size for the average betta, my betta loves hiding in plants but it does give her space to hide in there if she wanted to. My shimp actually love it. I found that to be true as well, but they send you a little round of smooth sandpaper to take care of that. I got these about a year ago, and they’re holding up well in my fish tank. The tetras love hiding inside, while the shrimps and Otos enjoy munching on the algae that forms on them.

A little smart but overall pretty smooth had to sand down some of the inside and the hole cut outs. It comes with a sanding paper so that was great. It’s pretty easy to clean. You just rinse with water and they stack well. They’re very sturdy.

These look like stones and are textured, and they're made of a ceramic substance. The holes on mine didn't need any sanding, the borders weren't sharp.
