Perfecty size for the average betta, my betta loves hiding in plants but it does give her space to hide in there if she wanted to. My shimp actually love it. A little smart but overall pretty smooth had to sand down some of the inside and the hole cut outs. It comes with a sanding paper so that was great. It’s pretty easy to clean. You just rinse with water and they stack well. They’re very sturdy.
