It says "motorcycle" but the spoons are strong enough to do car tires as long as you don't get too aggressive. The valve stem caps and cores are nothing I need so I didn't even look at them. The core removing tool looks like the other 4 I have (also wasn't really needed). The wheel protectors look like they could be nice for removing a tire but I haven't tried them yet. The spoons are very heavy duty. Much more so than most of my motorcycle ones that are just flat steel pressed onto a bent shape. These are as long as my premium ones and at least as strong. But don't be fooled by the picture of the guy holding one of them. That picture makes it look like they are at least 24" long when they are a bit over a foot long. However as long as you don't space them too far apart when trying to remove a tire they provide lots of leverage. Having 3 is the key. You can leave on on one side of the wheel to prevent the tire from sliding back onto the wheel and use the other two to inch around the otherside of the wheel to remove the tire. ... show more

    • A nice kit for smaller jobs

If I was mounting a car or motorcycle tire I would probably have it done by a professional that had the right tools to make the job easier and provide balancing. I wanted this for smaller jobs like lawn mower and log splitter or wheelbarrow tires. It comes as a nice kit with 3 tire spoons and some rim protectors which may or may not be effective. You also get a valve tool, spare valves, and valve caps. There are no instructions which would have been useful if you have never done this before. You will need to watch some videos online to learn how to use them. Hint: you will probably want some soapy lube to make the removal and install easier if not messier. It also includes a bag that contains it all with a zippered closure. This all seems a little light duty, which should be fine for my purposes. Keep in mind it does not include a way to break a bead, pull a new valve assembly through the rim, or do any kind of rough balancing. I am going to give it a try on a 20x10-8 rear tire on a mower that is only 2 ply. Hopefully it works for that because I think I will be doing several in the near future. For $22 this is a nice kit. If you shop around there are quite a few that are similar for around the same price. So I don't see anything that makes this stand out over others. I ordered this tire removal toolset to change the tires on my lawn tractor because I had no suitable existing tools. I like this set for several reasons. First, the extra-long tire spoons provide the leverage to remove the old tire from the rim. The spoon shape makes it easier to manipulate while removing the tire from the rim. Second, the valve tool works well to replace valve cores. The kit also includes extra valves and valve caps. Third, the rim protectors are a bonus in case I need this tool for an application requiring wheel protection. Fourth, this kit seems well made, and I expect to receive many years of trouble-free service. So far, I have successfully changed the front tires on my lawn tractor. I am happy with this tire removal toolset and have had no disappointments. If you need a toolset like this, you should evaluate this product before deciding. ... show more

This package includes everything I need to change my Onewheel tire. The package came with three tire spoons, three rubber rim protectors, valve removal tool, six valve cores, ten plastic caps, and a carrying case to carry all of these items. I need to swap out my tire on my Onewheel and this package is perfect. I got everything that needed to remove the old tire and reinstall the new tire. First I use the valve removal tool to release the air and remove the valve core, then I use the three tire spoons with the plastic rim protectors. to remove the tire. Clean up the hub and then reverse the process with the new tire. It took 30 minutes to complete the tire change because I need to disassemble the entire Onewheel to remove the tire. It was easy with this tool kits. Overall, I really like this package and the quality of these tools, and I highly recommend this product. ... show more

If you ever change your own tires, whether on a car tire or motorcycle tire or lawn tractor, this kit will definitely help. The rim protectors do just that - they protect your rim when spooning the tire off. The spoons included offer a nice grip, and having 3 of them helps, too, when struggling to get the old tire off or new tire on. Extra Schrader valves and caps are a nice addition. Without the storage bag this kit could be very difficult to keep all the parts together. Plus the bag is nice! Everything you need in one place to deal with changing smaller tires. I'll be changing out some zero turn mower tires soon and these will no doubt come in very handy. Recommended.
