Have a German Rottweiler. He is absolutely spoiled and gets weekly toys. Being a year old he gets bored easy. But being a Rottie no toy lasts. He loves squeaky toys the more annoying the better. Works for me as he annihilates them in minutes. But those minutes of his immense pleasure makes it worth it. I expected the same results with this toy. Only this damn thing won't break already. WTH I was counting on it to be cheap and flimsy and I wouldn't have to have a headache and my eye twitching from the constant squeaking. But no it just won't die. He loves it so much he literally hits me in the face with it 2 am wanting to play. I've taken to hiding it but he's smart. He always finds it ! At this point I'm desperate enough to hire a " kidnapper " just someone to come take this toy from him. That way it's not me that did it. I can't take his sad eyes. My family is mad at me for buying it. If I hear " seriously mom ?" One more time I'm liable to snap. Lol To be fair it's extremely loud and annoying. How can this be the best and worst squeaky toy I've bought him ? Fair warning I am pretty sure it's cursed. Indestructible like the Annabelle doll. I'll likely have nightmares of the squeaking chicken for life. You've been warned. Your dog will love you your family however picks your nursing home ! This is a nice size and makes great, funny pig sounds. My 65 lb staffy/boxer loves it. She's not a chewer or toy destroyer by nature and it's a fairly heavy rubber so it's lasting just fine. This purchase was actually a gift for a friend's dog.

After my small dog outgrew the small version of this chicken I ordered this larger one. I am very pleased that is is a heavier latex and the size is large enough for me to hold one end while playing tug a war. It has quite a loud squeaker but since she only plays with it when I can play with her it's not annoying to me. I recommend it for small or medium size dogs who are not aggressive chewers. Bought one and gave it to our 3 mo old lab puppy. Should have filmed it. Very funny. She loves it. It makes a nice pig sound noise when hardly touched. Lily, our dog, poked the piggy just a tiny bit, it made the noise, she retreated, then proceeded to do it again an again, harder and harder, till she had it softly in her mouth and sort of play wrestling with it. The amazing thing about these is they bring out some sort of bird dog instinct and the dog does not go hog wild tearing the pig apart, but holds it softly in her mouth, like it is a bird or a puppy or something. She played for it for over 30 min that first time, and has played with it everyday for the past 2 months. Lots of teeth marks and scratches on it, but still alive and kickin. It is her favorite toy. By the way, the sqeaker in these is about 5 " long and very robust. Buy one now, as the national morning news just did a story on them saying they are the best dog toy of all time. Only bummer is that the color you get is a toss up. We bought the first one, blue. The 2nd one was also blue. And a 3 pack we bought also had a blue, but it a least had and orange and yellow one. Oh, and u can by a 2 pack of the smaller one, but hey have a high pitch squeak and not the pig sound. She loves them too, killed the sqeaker in one, but the other one still works. Update 4 months in with our ust shy of 6 mo lab at 58 lbs now. Now on third piggy. These pigs are really fun and for $5 great. That said, the first (blue) one lasted over 3 months, and then the squeaker stopped grunting, but it is still alive. It had one small tear. Piggy 1 (blue), lab puppy (2 to 5 mo) 0. Piggy 2 (pink) for xmas, squeaker died on day two. Still viable as the 1st. Puppy still plays with both. Piggies 1.5, puppy (4 mo) 0.5 Piggy 3 (darker blue), squeaky died at week. Again all 3 still viable. Piggies 2.25, puppy 0.75. By the way, we retired piggy 1, for its overall fun-ness, we wanted to keep it for posterity and to have in 14 years after Lily/Moonpie is gone. So they are good, they are cheap, they are fun, but they do seem to have a squeaker attachment quality inconsistency, but lab puppy's are rough on them. Drop 1 star ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I buy my dog these all the time. They do come apart, but it takes a few months at least in my experience. Anyway, I have a black lab. But he knows his pig by name and he will look all around the house for it. It’s his absolute favorite and it doesn’t drive me nuts with the loud squeaking instead it makes me laugh, grunting like a pig. So I can talk on the phone watch TV and it doesn’t bother me so needless to say I no longer by squeaky toys. I just buying grunting pigs. I Do you have a 12lb Pomeranian and the size she cannot pick up with her mouth and it annoys her so bad, and it makes me laugh. I have to get her at three or 4 inch ones she loves them too. I just yell go get your pig, where’s your pig? And they both go nuts. ... show more

This is a good product. It's chewable it makes noise. The squeak is more of a grunt so it's not annoying. The dogs really loved it. I just wish that the grunt sound wouldn't have been so easily broken by the dogs. This is definitely not for aggressive chewers or dogs that like to "kill" their toys.

My dog loves this toy - well hate/love. He growls and grumbles really loudly when playing/shaking it but just loves it, he is a CavaPoo. I took this up to my daughters cabin and forgot it, her dogs are stronger & bigger and rip toys apart easily but this they enjoyed playing with it and didn't destroy it so far. Still has the annoying sound which is so fun to get going by shaking it. Great toy, I will buy another when/If it loses it. THANKS !! Much enjoyment for Hank. It was received new and just as shown/described, replaces the cheap one Walmart had that the neighbor dog ripped the head off of, it wasn't as sturdy. ... show more
