We have bought four of these sharks over time (including one as a gift for a visiting dog who fell in love with our puppy's). The first shark lasted many months, living through the end of the first teething and into the beginning of the second teething phase of our puppy land shark (TWC hound) with unheard of durability. Unfortunately, the next two we bought in quick succession because the seams didn't hold. Not sure where the QA department went wrong. Magnum was crestfallen to be denied his shark. It's soft. cute, sings and most puppy was carrying it around for a while. But he is a heavy chewer so it lasted just a couple of weeks. Because he luvs it so much i bought the monkey same catchy song...lol..

If you don't mind spending the money for 2 weeks worth of singing! Toy was beloved by my dog, for 2 weeks....then the music stopped. So sad.....she is heartbroken. I will buy her another, hoping this is not the norm for this toy.

My dog loves this toy and I have ordered it several times. It is one of her favorites, and second only to her Mr. Bill dog toy which I also order here on Amazon. I would say this one is definitely more durable than Mr. Bill, and lasts longer. She loves making it sing it’s song over and over again. I’m not sure this toy will work for really aggressive chewers, but it works well for my dog because she is pretty gentle with her toys. As opposed to your average seek, kill, destroy types. The price point is also great so I don’t mind replacing when needed. Overall, it’s a great toy and I would recommend it. ... show more
