The media could not be loaded. My wife and I both love cycling and we got an e-bike that was a little low for me. My wife decided to use that for herself and I got this model. E-bikes are so convenient to ride and use and it makes it easy to go for long rides. Considering the factor that good manual bikes are almost the same cost as this one, it makes sense to go for e-bikes. My detailed comments are below after using it for a week and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an e-bike in this price range. My 2 cents are below: Pros: - This bike ride is very smooth overall. It handles well in bumps as well because of the front suspensions - Has 3 modes to ride the bike - ebike, assisted bicycle & normal bike. - Shimano 7-speed transmission system in form of gears that should satisfy all the needs for any terrain of biking - Has a maximum speed of around 22MPH. I am not sure about you but riding a bike over 15MPH is something my wife and I both don't prefer for safety reasons and hence it delivers as per our needs. It has a 500W high-power motor and immediately catches the speed on pressing the trigger - 48V battery gives around 40 miles range on a full charge and that is a good number for an e-bike in this price category - Digital HD led display is very fancy and intuitive but I wish it was colored - Front suspension is smooth & very effective - Has disc brakes in both from and rear wheels. It worked great overall for sudden and usual brakes while riding it - Central b/w display visibility is nice even in sunlight. The screen is very bright and has no issues in reading values even in bright light - Headlight LEDs are bright enough for night rides as well. We usually tend to ride in the evening or when it is about to get dark and hence we liked this- Tail lights are electric too & very functional - Overall this e-bike looks fancy and targets youth customers. It would be a great choice for anyone in the '30s - Fat tires have a good grip overall and we did not feel it skidding as if now- It has rear fenders for dirt protection and a rack at the back to keep something - Great build quality and structure feels very strong from any angle - It is easy to charge with the access point in a nice area. It charged from zero to full in around 6 hours and I found it to be true to what the manufacturer claims - Battery compartment is removable and is waterproof - Foldable bike for that extra convenience to take during travel - Comes very well packed and there was no damage at all - The bike comes in big packaging with 100% assembly already in place. Just had to lock the parts via an inbuilt clamp. It was overall an easy assembly - Detailed manual provided and should cover any question you may have during use, however, there is a con as mentioned in the 2nd section - The manufacturer offers a 1-year warranty on the bike - Very reasonably priced in this category of product and it is a bank for the bucks Cons: - Not the lightweight bike of all we have tried - I wish it had rear suspension as well for a smoother ride in plain terrane - Should have a bike lock inbuilt, preferably an electronic one just like how you have in motorbikes for that convenience to take it anywhere- Why a manual horn in an e-bike? I believe the manufacturer should add an electric horn too - I wish it had other color options to choose from ... show more

    • This is a great first ebike.
The bike (Mukkpet GL) came packaged perfectly. Not one scratch, dent, ding, whatever. Once out of the box, the next thing I noticed was that after I put the seat on (quick attachment) and the handlebars on (another quick attachment), it was completely assembled. The only thing I used the supplied tools for was to make sure all nuts/bolts were tight. The battery had about a half charge and the front tire needed about 10 lbs of pressure. Once those things were done, it was off to the races (or maybe just a quick joyride). That was four days ago. So far, no problems as I have been learning how to run through all the gears and pedal assist levels. The battery indicates it is still almost fully charged (22 miles) but I do use it almost exclusively in pedal assist mode. The bike is comfortable to ride, very stable on the road with those fat tires and very responsive. I had to look online to find out how to turn on the installed headlight and tail-lights but that was easy. I found that the brake light works well once someone following me told me that I had a brake light (cool). I zip-tied a white milk crate to the rear carrier and I was ready to go. Is this a road racer? No. Using the pedals to the max on the highest assist level, I did get the speedometer up to 28 mph, but on throttle only, I am going a max of about 20 mph (there might also have been a tailwind and downhill slope involved). However, that is pretty darn good for a retired, out of shape, 69 yr old person. Is this for mountain biking? Probably not, but it isn't being used for that. And considering that I am using it for getting around town and going to the local grocery store, it is plenty fast. Getting around town is so easy, the pedal assist with the 500 W motor provides plenty of power. Frankly, my truck hasn't been started in four days. Yep, I really like this bike. ... show more

    • Very Fast shipping & prompt response from customer service
My folding bike showed up 2 days faster then expected. That is always a great start. The bike was very well protected in the shipping box. They had the bike in 2 bags, with spray foam between the bags to prevent damage. The only damage that I had was the display controller mounting bracket was broken. Looked like someone over tightened a screw, & cracked the plastic. Contacted customer service. Very fast response. New controller on its way. It may take awhile, shipping from overseas. Over all, the bike is very comfortable to ride. Smooth ride with fat tires. The throttle has a very quick response. The weather is just starting to warm up so I haven't had a chance to test the battery life on a long ride. The bike is a little heavy, but I feel that only give me a sense of confidence that the bike will last me many years. The quality of all the welds are smooth. No burrs, or gaps. It has a headlight, Taillight, & a rear rack. Fender too. Not all folding E bike had fenders, so that was a major thumbs up. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a folding E bike .
