I find myself dragging ink with each pen stroke with American pens but this cuts way down on that and is just more fun to write with overall. As a teacher, I prefer to only use these pens. They are so smooth and easy to write with; they don’t bleed at all and you can select the thickness that works with your handwriting. The pen marks are also super visible because it’s a dark black. As long as I can afford these, I will keep buying them. (Please don’t raise the price more!!) ... show more

I normally write with pilot g-2 pens because I love the bold black. These pens are are well done. The ink doesn't form a little tip on the pen like it does with pilot pens and it writes very smooth. I love the minimalist look to it but since it doesn't have a grip. Not a huge issue when writing but significant. It also doesn't hold up to drawing long lines across pages, the pen seems to "run out" of ink until you lift it and go again. ... show more
