Not worth the low price. No indicator light to tell if it's on, which is important as it often fails to turn on, and just sits there with the bread at the bottom and the lever down, but no heat. It has very metal bread guides that limit it to sandwich bread. No bagels, buns, or toaster waffles. When it does actually toast bread, it doesn't lift toast when finished. It just sits there until you manually use the lever, or shake the toaster upside down. Basically, it failed at everything. We had low expectations because it was Amazon's cheapest toaster, but it was still a major disappointment.

I have had this toaster for 1 year and I find the slots are not big enough. It doesn't work for a bagel, Arnold multigrain bread (bread too big) and the other day we tried homestyle frozen waffles and I had to thaw partially, and then press them down to fit in. It was then a challenge to get it out of the toaster. While I love the Retro style it isn't "One size fits all"

I really like the retro design — it looks great on my kitchen counter and feels well made. The 7 browning levels give a nice range, and it toasts evenly most of the time. The controls are simple, and the crumb tray makes cleaning easy. It just takes a little longer to toast than I expected, but overall it’s a good, reliable toaster for everyday use.

Stopped working after 15 months of very light use. Seriously I used this toaster maybe 20 times during that time. It’s a cute/retro style, which is what drew me to it in the first place, but that is where the pros end. For something as simple as a toaster, this had several “cons”. The slots are ridiculously small. So if you want to toast anything more than a standard piece of bagged, store bought, pre-sliced bread, this is not the toaster for you. Bagels, artisan styles are a hard NO, they’re not gonna fit. I paid around $25 for this toaster, it was on sale. That’s a fair price for this, if it lasts several years with moderate use. My last toaster I bought in 2015 and paid $7.00 for it. It was a Sunbeam. Got rid of it in June 2023, and she still worked perfectly. The only reason I got rid of it was because it didn’t have a crumb tray and I got tired of unplugging it and turning it upside down and dumping the crumbs in the trash. Looking back I wish I still had that old $7 toaster. 😒 in conclusion, I would not recommend this toaster for anything other than a cute retro prop. I gave 2 stars because of that look, but I think 2 stars is being generous tbh.
