This is a pretty good camera for watching pets, kids, whatever on. With an SD card you essentially get free video/still capture storage using the app, SD is located under the lens (you have to tilt it up!). I’ve had really good luck identifying where my geriatric/borderline dementia cat was urinating, and could try and address the issue once I knew what was happening. We have multiple cats that relieve themselves all over our basement guess bed, a hallway, on baseboards, in corners etc. It has been a living h e l l for years trying everything to the point where I can’t stand cleaning up after them and it gives me anxiety being in an impossible situation. Update (Sept '23- I am updating this review only to mention the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I put 4 stars because at times, the directional panel malfunctions when going right or left. It's not a major deal for my needs because it pretty much captures the entire room I need it for. The motion detector is spot on. The noise detector is pretty on point as well. Hope this helps )I am pretty impressed with this cam and it's features. I didn't know what to expect at such a reasonable price. It works exactly as described. It took seconds to set up. I'm actually shocked at its capabilities. The night vision it perfect. Again, It is exactly as described in the description. I love this camera for the various ways you can utilize it. I positioned the camera in a second story window which has a very dark and heavy UV screen, and the camera clearly captures the entrance to my patio and who comes in and out. It doesn’t matter how much light is available as the camera can capture images even at the crack of dawn. This camera is very user friendly and takes maybe 3-5 minutes to set up using the Mubview app prompts. There are several camera settings to get the exact angle you need; i.e. up, down, left, right. This little camera has a lot going for it, especially for the price. After connecting it to my WiFi (2.4G only), I immediately added it to my Blue Iris system. Both connections were really easy to do. Follow the prompts to connect to WiFi, and for BI go into settings and turn on ONVIF, then make up a password for ONVIF and add the IP address to BI and let it find the camera. The ONVIF password has nothing to do with the account password, just make something up, but use the same thing for the BI camera password. It has been rock solid on BI with no dropouts. As for the camera, it does what it's suppose to do. Doesn't have the highest resolution in the world, but quite a decent picture. The app works good, is straight forward and not overly complicated. There is a cloud service, but I just use an SD card and that works fine for me, so I really can't speak to the cloud service. I've had many many different brands of these type of cameras, and so far I can say that this one is the best value for the cost of all of them I've had. ... show more
