The SG28 is smaller and fits the hand better than the SG35. It is also a little lighter. The SG28 feels better in hand and the angle is better compared to the big brother SG35. If you don’t need the 5000 psi of the SG35, stick with the SG28.

    • Broke after 20 minutes of use. Threads were defective also.

The threads on this gun were defective. I have an older model MTM M407 and when I went to transfer the quick connects to the SG28 the threads on the gun would not fit the adapters. I tested the fitment of my quick connect adapters with several other fittings and they fit perfectly on everything else. The SG28 I received had defects in the threads. Once I was able to get the fittings on well enough to use the gun I tested it out for about 2 minutes. A couple days later I went to wash a car and mid way through rinsing the car the gun became stuck in the "ON" position and would not turn off. I was very unhappy with this SG28. I went back to the M407 and I am going to try the SG35 next in hopes that it is not defective. It seems that I just happened to get a defective unit based on the other reviews, but having two separate defects on one unit is quite bad. ... show more

I bought this spray gun to use with my SunJoe pressure washer. The trigger is noticeably easier than the one that came with the SunJoe. It's also smaller and lighter than my original spray gun. I didn't realize that it dropped off my pressure washer, and I accidentally ran it over with my car. I scratched the plastic face a little, but it still worked as well as it did when I first got it. If my MTM spray gun ever got lost or stolen, I would have no problem buying another one. ... show more

I bought this to replace another spray gun I had because it was a forearm/grip workout to wash a car. Doing more than one car in a day, I started to feel like Popeye. The trigger is so light on this gun. It actually sprayed on it's own one time when I went to put it down and slipped out of my hand and hit the ground. I'm actually a little afraid of it sometimes when I'm changing hands or spinning the gun to straighten the hose. I do consider it a very good purchase and definitely recommend it unless you need bigger forearms. ... show more

It is well built and I hope it lasts a long time. Video is my shorty gun that I built with this handle. I used cheap soap in this video. Chemical Bros. Was using the stock Ryobi gun and tried a few others. This gun is by far the easiest to pull and hold the trigger with. Has a slight heft to it and the connections are solid. Has worked perfectly for my auto detailing and getting in close on my fencing.
