I am a 68 year old woman. I wanted one of these on my walk behind mower. It had never had one. Wasn't sure if I could install it, but thought I'd try. It was suggested I get a step bit to drill hole. I did. This was so easy. It took me longer to gather up everything I needed, than it did to install.

My new rider came with a port in the deck with a cover plate. The black plastic nozzle fit right in. I had to customize a washer/grommet for a proper fit without crushing the plastic mounting tab. I used hardware that didn't interfere with the water flow or the coupler. I drilled a hole in the opposite side of the deck and installed the metal nozzle with included hardware.     • Takes some fit-ment creativity
Put these on my Craftsman tractor mower deck. They didn't work very well. I cut the bottom of the nozzle off to make them spray straight down. They worked better. Deciding where to put them was a challenge but I looked at my Toro zero-turn which had them installed at the factory and tried to match up positioning. I managed to get them in an equivalent position. Also looked at the Toro to discover they sprayed straight down, hence cutting the bottom off. They work but jacking up the mower and spraying out the underside of the deck with a hose/nozzle works the best. ... show more
