An adaptable set up also allows you to pitch it using trekking poles (sold separately) or suspend it from a tree. Available in two sizes, the 70 Square Foot shelter accommodates 1-3 people measuring 114 by 96 inches with a 52 inch height, while the 100 Square Foot shelter accommodates 2-3 people measuring 126 by 114 inches with a 52 inch height. Either size can be paired with any MSR Thru-Hiker Mesh House, and is fortified using durable Xtreme Shield waterproof coating which lasts up to 3 times longer than other waterproof coatings for long-lasting performance. The Thru-Hiker shelter utilizes a compact design that allows it to fit in the smallest packs; both sizes pack down to 9 by 4 inches. The 70 model weighs 16 ounces, and the 100 model weighs 20 ounces.
