I ordered these chairs to replace the broken hyraulic lift stools I had before. I use these with my standing desk at work. My old stools were adjustable by hydraulic, which was great, until the hydraulics quit working. Once that happened, no matter what, I would always just sink down to the bottom low level of the stool, which was WAAYY too low for my standing desk! When I was looking for replacements, I knew adjustable was a must, but hydraulics was a no-go. I found these gorgeous chairs and ordered them. They arrived within 2 days! They were very easy to put together and the best part is they are fully adjustable with a very wide range of height, but will never "slip" or change unless I unlock the ring and physically spin it up or down. I have had these not quite 2 months now, and as I figured, the padded top was not the best quality (note in the picture how much flatter one seat is than the other). HOWEVER, I was expecting this, and I'm ready for it. Because of the design (which I paid attention to before I purchased) these are going to be very easy to recover the seat AND add matching cover and pad to the back of the chair. I plan on putting in some quality foam and covering them in a really nice upholstery. But even with that one expected short coming, the chairs are definitely a perfect match for what I was looking for! They are light, but feel sturdy and strong because they are all metal frame. These chairs went perfectly with our bar. Got these on a deal and order 2 sets. Wish we had ordered another set. They look nice even though they were so much cheaper than similar products. The circular cushion is smaller than expected but my 200+ father fits comfortably. The backs are low so it’s more lumbar support than upper back if you’re tall. ... show more

    • Don't waste your money
I bought these for a room that hardly gets used. They both broke exactly 7 months later, almost to the exact date of purchase. My husband fell both times, and currently we are at the ER. The stool just suddenly makes a loud "popping" noise, and then down you go to the base (where if you make the chair higher or lower), then off he went onto the floor. Last week it happened then today about. hours ago. He fell, it his head on the wall/shelving unit and had blood everywhere. Waiting to see the outcome of these terrible chairs. The chairs snapped at the welds, and it feels like you can just snap the back rest. They are cool chairs, but the large screw in the back gets looser and looser and you dont know it gets lose until BAM! You're on the floor. They are not comfortable either. They are fine if you're going to sit for about 15-45 minutes but after that you're done. Unfortunately I wasted hard earned money on these, and cannot get my money back, instead they are going to cost me THOUSANDS. Shame on the maker of these. Prayers my husband won't be too hurt, I'm scared to death with all the blood. ... show more

Chairs are exactly as advertised, nice and sturdy without taking up too much space. I'm a big dude and they hold my weight fine. Swivel works nicely and the height is easy to adjust.     • Sturdy stools
The stools are great. Unfortunately arrived in a destroyed box to Hawaii, with most of the screws missing. I would have returned it, but being the handy man that I am, replaced the screws with some I have, and as they are under the stool won't notice. The hassle of finding a box to return them was not worth it. So my less than stellar rating, is not directed at the company that made the stools, but Uline packing and shipping ... show more

    • Not sturdy. Both seats broke apart after a couple months use
The chairs look pretty in photographs. The fabric finish is not as nice as the pictures and feels like it could wear off fast, but that's not a big deal. The main deal was that the seat broke off the base structure after only 2 months use. Before breaking, the seat felt unstable when leaning back. Bear in mind, these were not used by heavy people. They are just weakly soldered with two soldering points at each support. The soldering work is not well done. We will now see if we can get someone to weld them back together, otherwise, straight to the trash they go. ... show more

I like the material that the seat cushions are covered with in contrast to the rest of my kitchen. The height of the seats is adjustable which is nice. The seats are very sturdy and they were easy to assemble. Tools were included which is great for somebody that does not have tools.
