The media could not be loaded. I went with these wood rack corners, as they were heavier duty. The fact that they actually had a heavier, steel thickness was important. I decided to go one step further and create a roof For the wood storage rack to keep off the rain, including shingles. This was a Fairly easy weekend project. I will also say, that one of the metal corners arrived with a broken weld. It was quickly replaced . So, I now have two and I would recommend making them slightly higher so it can hold more wood ... show more

Based on the ad images and Amazon weight I thought this would be the strongest affordable option. I went ahead and ordered 6 to fill the space under the deck with 12ft racks. A few days after placing the order I read more of the reviews and became very nervous. Some negative reviews say the ads are lies, that the steel is not heavy weight. I warned my wife we might have to send them all back and order something less deceptive. The first 3 arrived yesterday and I am very pleased. The weight as you can see in the photos is absolutely correct. The reviews saying the screws are cheap and there are not full welds are correct. On the screws I already plan to use deck screws anyway, so I don't care about the included screws. As for the welds, they are smooth and well done, no bubbles or cracks. ... show more

I recently bought a set of these brackets that said were for 2x4's. The slots were a lot bigger than the 2x4's, the screws were really small, metal was thin. So I looked again on Amazon and found the Mr. Ironstone Firewood Storage Brackets, and bought them. The slots fit the 2x4's perfectly, better welds, heavier metal, longer screws and top braces made the kit better than the competitors. Very sturdy, great price. So easy to assemble. I purchased longer wood screws, however, they were too long. So, I used the ones that were included. They screws included worked well, no issues. In fact, after I put it together, I decided it was too tall. (Second photo cut down.) So easy, removed the top part, used a circular saw and cut it down to the height I wanted. I put the top back on and used the same screws. I also used some toilet levels on the inside which makes it even more stable (it’s stable enough without them though). Best purchase I have made all year. Highly recommended. Last photo I added a top, and used a black transparent stain. ... show more
