  • This puts out some heat
Pattern Name: Heater
I bought a thermostat to put inline in between the power cord and the extension cord. The heater runs as long as it is plugged in. It fired right up no problems. warmed up my garage in 6 minutes to where i was very comfortable in a light sweatshirt. I have an attached 2.5 car garage on my brick house. The garage stays about 40 degrees even when it gets in the teens (F). This takes the chill off fast. It is small and light. Im fine with the fact it uses propane a little faster then the 80 or 60k heaters. Since I only run it about 10 minutes total every hour its fine for me. Yes the arc starter keeps sparking once it is lit but It does not bother me. ... show more

  • Super hot heater
Pattern Name: Heater
This little heater puts out some serious heat.. it has a high and low setting and is pretty noisy too. You will need to open some windows or doors because it smells pretty strong when running. I heated my 1600 sf high ceiling shop from 50 degrees to 65 degrees in about 15 minutes with a couple windows open. Had to take off my sweatshirt! I would guess the fumes are bad for you, so it's good idea to have ventilation like instructions state! I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't just High and low.. not modulating control. ... show more

  • Working great all winter
Pattern Name: Heater
I'm pleased overall with this heater. I've been using this heater in my garage through this winter. Heats very well. Easy to use. Lightweight for the amount of heat. The smell is very minimal. It is noisy when running, but I would say its quieter than the other same type heaters I've been around. More details of my use below. My attached garage is 1400 SF and the ceiling is not insulated. During single digit outdoor temperatures, the garage drops to around 30 deg, it can easily warm the garage up to 60 deg in around 20 min on high. I heat my garage typically to 50 deg for 4-5 hours daily. Heating on the low setting, I tend to use around 10 gal of propane a week. ... show more

  • Quite
Pattern Name: Heater
I received this heater but had to get a 40lb propane tank. It can get my two car garage up to 70-80 degrees in about 5 minutes from about low 40s. I loved the heat but after 15 -20 minutes it get so hot I would have to turn it off. It was adjusted to the lowest temp but with a 15lb tank you can run it longer. The tank empty quickly maybe with in two hours of continuous use at the lowest setting. ... show more
