  • 💯
I bought these to use as a wireless in ear pack. Definitely not the intended use, but they work very well. You do have to move them around a little bit once plugged in to get any buzz away. (Weird but has not caused a problem). They sound pretty good and for the price there’s not many other options.

  • I really, REALLY wanted to like this setup...but...
Great price for a wireless lav that would make my vlogging life easier. Setup was easy enough and it connected right away. But... Even using it outdoors, there was noticeable hiss in the audio, enough that when I tried to remove it in post, it negatively (though slightly) altered the quality of the audio. Kind of a drag because the actual sound of the microphone and overall audio was really good. But, that hiss (a.k.a. self-noise). Yikes. One other gripe is the antenna on the transmitter and receiver; they don't rotate once screwed in, even though they can be angled 90 degrees in either direction. This means that once threaded in, if you have the receiver mounted on your camera's cold shoe, for example, when you angle the antenna up, it will be crooked to one side or the other. Weird oversight and kind of a drag. The quality of materials, overall, was about as low budget as you would expect. Though I didn't have any technical issues other than hiss (and no, that wasn't because I needed to use a different channel), they just felt...cheap. One bright side, I suppose, is that it takes AA batteries, so you could use rechargeables in there and never have to worry about a permanent internal battery going bad. So, just remember this expression if you're a budding vlogger and wanting to purchase gear: "I cannot afford to buy cheap things." Keep repeating that until it sinks in. I wasted time waiting for this to come in, only to discover the noise issue, and spent more time sending it back. If you, dear new vlogger, interviewer, whatever, want quality -- you will pay for it. So...just. save. longer! ... show more

  • Great Microphone System for the price.
I was looking for a good Microphone System for making YouTube videos. Not too cheap nor extremely expensive. I found this Microphone System and I thought I would try it. And I am glad I did. Pros: Great sound quality for the price Cons: Camera attachment could be better. Hard to attach to the camera. Would be nice if you could rotate the antennas straight up after you screw them in. Cell phones makes clicking sounds on the recording if you don't put your cell phone on airplane mode. ... show more

  • work well
I'm using this system for a helper for hearing conversation with Drs. by putting the audio into a Kindle Fire voice recognition. As the Dr. or his staff speaks, I clip the mike to their collar. Now I can hear and see what they are saying. When I ordered this, the receiver was DOA. I contacted MOVO support. They emailed me a return goods autherization (RMA) number. I shipped the rcvr. back to MOVO - but I didn't put the RMA on the UPS label. I worked with support to locate my return ,and ship a replacement. Support was understanding of my mistake and were great to work with. THANKS MOVO. ... show more

  • It seems to work best with one mounted horizontally and one vertically.
I was hoping to find a wireless solution that didn't break the bank but worked as well as the more expensive units. Movo seems to have fit the bill. I cannot verify noise cancellation or sound clarity because what I needed it for was to connect a microphone that sits in the middle of the congregation of our small church to catch our singing during our live stream service. I previously connected this microphone with a long cord running along the ground. Obviously, this would eventually create a problem. Movo makes it happen wirelessly. The base can be mounted to a camera while the other, that doesn't come with a belt clip, sits vertically on speaker. If bot units are in the same orientation, it seems that connectivity between the two units is spotty. But for my solution, it works great and would recommend and would purchase again. ... show more

  • Great for YouTube set
You know, with a product like this I didn’t really want to review it right off the bat I wanted to see how I felt about it down the road. So after using it for a while in different situations, it seems like this unit is a great value for the money but you should not expect it to do some thing that $1000 unit would do but if you’re set is all line of sight you’re good ... show more

  • Great sound quality at low cost
I make my own television show at home and had tried many inexpensive microphones and this one turned out to be one of the best. I recommend it for those looking for sound quality at a low cost.

  • Watch the antenna connection
Antenna on transmitter can easily become loosened leading to break up in audio. Having learned that, we tighten the antenna every time we use it. Range is not as good as advertised but good enough.
