  • Built to Last and Priced to Move.
Movo has knocked it out of the park with this one. Unlike UHF based designs(I'm looking at you, Sennheiser), these are remarkably solid when it comes to avoiding interference, secure, and while they feel lightweight and cheap, the build quality is actually pretty alright. The lightweight nature is actually good, as it puts less stress on talent to have one of these things on them. Linking is instant, setup is easy, and the sound quality is precisely what I look for in a set of lavs. (Note: When recording with lavs on the collar, sound WILL come out more chesty. That is not a problem with This device, it is a problem with ALL lavs. It's pretty easy to bring back that treble in post.) ... show more

  • Why does the mic in port on the transmitter have to have a TRRS socket instead of the more common TRS?????
Works pretty decent, a little noise but that's to be expected with a cheap unit like this. Setup is relativity straight forward. The one thing that I absolutely hate about this is the fact that the transmitter has both a mic and a headphone ports, yet the freaking mic port is a TRRS connector that will not accept a standard stereo or mono mic. WHY???? The only reason to use a TRRS port is if you only have one port to use for mic/line out, which is not the case here. Also I have to point out the mic that comes with this sounds really muddy and muffled and doesn't rotate on the clip its mounted to. ... show more

I just bought it and tried to use it to record a corporate event. The sound was good when it worked but I ended up having to record %90 of the event with the built in camcorder microphone because the sound kept cutting out. I'm going to return it.

  • Feels cheap, sounds expensive
I just received this last week and have only just started using it, but from what I have experienced so far, for the price point, it can't be beat. The audio does come through clean, and although the product description only names Canon dslr products, I used this with a Panasonic GH3 and it worked beautifully. The only con is more about the casings. They feel very lightweight and fragile, but the actual product in regards to it's recording quality more than make up for that issue. Definitely happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Not expensive; performs much better than the cheap ones
I am a semi-pro videographer recording local meetings in which I record political candidates giving their campaign presentations, and I also have my own channel titled "Freedom Fighter Net." I have used this wireless mike assembly several times now and have found the quality and level to be just excellent every time. I have not, as yet, had occasion to use the feedback function to the presenter's earpiece, however, so my rating does not include that function, though I tested it once and it seemed to work fine. ... show more

Excellent sound quality and works very well with my Canon 7D without any issues. It eats batteries like a fiend so please remove the batteries when it will not be in use. Plastic is very thin so don't drop it or you will be here again ordering another one.

  • Excellent option for budget wireless audio
I shot a video of a 2-hour seminar with this and the speaker's audio came through very clearly in the final video. The monitor audio at the receiver sounded a little bit tinny at times, but apparently, this is only at the receiver and not in the audio itself. I used a Canon EOS 70D for the video. I lowered the easy to use rating by one star because you have to replace the batteries after about 90 mins of use. ... show more

  • Did't workout for me
If you remember those 9 volt transistor radios, these are smaller and cheaper. The sound is OK but one drop even a short distance your done.
