It does it all folks, shreds whatever you have on the plate. My husband loves to grill and I love my crockpot, it doesn't matter where you cook the meat, these little claws shred it up. Got it early which was a surprise but I noticed after getting them out that a couple of the tips were a little broken. The whole thing is still useable and those tips still do the job so I have had no issues with them. Would get another set as a gift or as a spare down the road.

These claws work great for their intended purpose, however, you really must be extremely careful with using these claws! They are extremely sharp and will easily cut your hands or fingers if you are quickly pulling a part some meat and get careless. Ask me how I know! That said, that is what they are supposed to be, and they are exactly as advertised! It really makes pulled pork so much easier to prepare and serve. Highly recommended! ... show more

A friend makes amazing shredded pork but kept burning his fingers during the shredding process. These claws separated the meat wonderful and no more hot fingers. After seeing how nicely the claws worked, I got a pair for myself but I believe my son will want them when he sees them I love giving gifts that are useful yet something one might not buy for themselves. ... show more

Got these for my husband and myself to use after he smokes the pork shoulders for BBQ. First let me note a couple things I didn’t like. The claws are too far apart so too big of chunks pass through. However I realize most claws are like this so it is what it is. The back of these claws are not solid, therefore they fill up with meat and whatever else you’re trying to cut. That said next time I buy a pair I’m looking for a pair that’s solid through and through. They still make a good fork for getting things out of the smoker and holding the meat while you cut it up though so I’ll give it three stars. ... show more
