This thing is amazing. Does everything it says it does. Super sturdy bolts. If you can't pre-drill a stud and go into a stud use toggles. keep in mind the tilt function isn't just press and move, it has four sets of holes and a pin to adjust where you want the tilt. But it does swivel 360° by just pushing and turning.

It wasn’t tough to install but the instructions are very minimal. Says nothing about needing to be in studs which is necessary for a ceiling mount. What I don’t like, which you can see in the image, is it leans back after the tv was mounted. I’m concerned that the offset weight is putting strain on the arm. The arm that mounts into the bracket is not secure at all. It’s free floating. Also the description says up to 90” but another portion of this product says up to 70”

Love the ceiling mount. The layout of my room made for the optimal tv placement to be in the corner. With a larger TV, and swing out style mount from the wall was not an option. This hanging mount allowed me to place the tv exactly where I wanted it at the exact height and angle. Installation was simple. Well, except for crawling in the ceiling and widening the studs, mine were only 2 inches wide, not enough to mount the 4 lag bolts. I also had trouble lining up with the studs when drilling pilot holes for the bolts. I don't blame that on this product though. Overall, very satisfied

I have years of professional experience mounting TVs and other electrical appliances/equipment. I used this product to mount a Samsung 85" Q7. It was easy to install and can handle the size and weight. It does not hold the TV completely still, however, and swings a little if pushed. This was a little disconcerting at first, so I went back to check a week later and all is well. I would NOT install where the TV would be moved often to avoid wear on some of the parts.
