I tried to start my motorcycle and had to charge that battery but when I saw I didn't have a strap I says to myself "Codey", I says, "You need to fix this before your battery ends up someplace it shouldn't be!". I hop on Amazon and the next thing I know I'm staring at this thing in my cart thinking to myself "Do I really wanna wait 5 days for a strap?" but you bet I did and I couldn't be more elated. It was winter when I bought it anyway, also the price was unbeatable, and most important is the durability.     • Tight stretch but works
Was probably an inch shorter than it should have been, but I bought three of these for use on Polaris magnum 330 & 325 ATVs. I was able to stretch it and it makes for a secure hold on the battery. I would buy them again as they seem to work fine. ***Update 2 weeks later*** so unfortunately I had to downgrade my review. They fit for sure, I was so happy, i bought 1 for each of the atv’s (4) total. 3 of them have broken within a week of being installed. When the first one broke I though ok, must have gotten damaged while riding, but then I found parts of another one the trailer that seems to have failed while the atv was sitting still! Checked the other quads, every one of them is gone with the exception of one that hasn’t left the garage. ... show more

    • Perfect replacement
I lost the strap on my Honda Rubicon and this fit perfectly. You must place the steel catch in the REAR plastic "hook" FIRST. THEN, slide the battery in place and STRETCH the strap to hook it in the catch on the FRONT. This is a bit tricky but, using a flathead screwdriver to manipulate it in place helps.. The stretch makes it nice and secure.. I also put a small piece of closed cell foam UNDER my battery to absorb more shock.. ... show more

    • Broke or fell off
I've been using a bungie cord for years to hold the battery in my 1976 KZ400, and I thought I'd switch it up and get the right strap for it, even though the bungie cord has worked for years. That wound up being a mistake. Sometime while I was riding, the strap either came off or broke off and that left my battery loose, which knocked off the side cover on the bike. The side cover landed in the road, and was damaged and I can't really repair it, and it's a vintage part. So, I will certainly not be using this again. ... show more

I bought this just 7 months ago and noticed last week that the strap is already dry rotting and tearing. Today I looked and it's almost completely torn. Find a more durable alternative than this brand. Update: still 7 months after purchase - completely torn. See attached picture. Absolute garbage.
