  • Great Kit Great Price
Great Leveling Kit. Easy to install and made of high quality materials. I have installed other Kit and by far this one was the easiest to install .

  • 2019 F-150 XLT, Motofab 2.5” level, Money well spent
Well where do I start. After doing extensive research I bought the Motofab 2.5” level kit for my 2019 F-150 XLT Supercrew cab. A Ford dealership was going to charge $1250 for a front level kit installed. A 3rd party garage was asking $850 with me supplying the parts. I phoned a friend (master mechanic with over 30 years experience). It took us 3 hours to install even after reading instructions and watching the video’s. Pretty straight forward but had it’s challenges. Passenger side was easier than the driver’s side. The big issue is all the brake lines and ABS wiring. You have to disconnect wiring all the way up and try not to pop a fluid line. The kit itself is super easy to fit to the struts. It’s the take out and install that’s a challenge. The look of the truck is now awesome. Money well spent. The Motofab kit is quality material and worth every penny. I saved $1000 doing this with a friend. ... show more

  • More hight that expected with the baby-boost engine
Great product for the money. If I were to do it again I would get the 2" instead of the 2.5" for the fact that my truck has the baby-boost engine (2.7) so i think i got more height out of it than planned. Unloaded the truck looks great! Pulling the big boat it squats pretty bad. I plan to add a camper shell and gear during duck season this year and will add a spacer to the rear to compensate the weight so there isn't a lot of squat. Install was simple if you've ever worked on anything with an independent suspension. I did have trouble getting the strut out and back in even after taking extra stuff off and loosening the lower a arm. One thing to note when putting on the spacer, the spacer has a little wiggle around the bolts so don't tighten one side up more than the other (which you shouldn't anyway). Snugg them down equally. Ride quality is about the same. The only time I notice a difference is hitting pot holes in the road. Running stock tires for now, September or October I'll go to a 275/70r18 tire which will make it look just right ... show more

  • Have an open afternoon, make sure you got the tools.
Arrived pretty quick, packaging was simple. A buddy of mine helped me with this side project, because I have close to zero knowledge when it comes to this sort of thing. Neither of us have ever installed a leveling kit before, so with the knowledge he got from previous times and wonderful wonderful YouTube, we were able to accomplish this. Now... I have a 2012 F-150, I got the 2.5 in. leveling kit and it leveling the truck almost perfectly, in between half of an inch. However, to get to the end result, we fought, hit the pause button, rewound, used a jack’s arm to pry, a beautifully straight piece of rebar, (rip rebar, you did good...) tightened and loosened the strut assembly multiple times... But in the end came out victorious after 6 and half cold, windy hours of a surprisingly cuss free, 2.5 in. leveling kit experience. Although some videos mention a front end alignment, we were able fix it up ourselves. The truck drives straight, a little more rough of a ride, but will be able to fit some nice 33’s in with minimum trimming to reduce rubbing. I wouldn’t go over 2.5 in... Fitting the strut back up in there gave me a select few words I wanted to yell, but it just took time and a lot of video watching to see how others did it. These “oh, it should just pop right on out after loosening this here nut.” They can take there “easy peasy..” experience and shove it. My poor rebar... would definitely recommend a strong prybar, or you’ll have to resort to what we had to do. All in all, happy with the outcome, laughed a lot, and truck looks pretty good without that factory lean to it. ... show more

  • Perfect, everything I expected, worked without issues!
Overall I’m happy with this kit. Install was pretty easy, i used to be a certified mechanic so I’ve done a few of these, but with a decent set of tools and some common knowledge it’s not that bad, there are some decent YouTube videos to help. This kit had everything included to install, seemed to be good quality and after test driving my truck after it drives pretty nice, a little stiffer but still feels comfortable. I’ll update if I run into alignment issues. I’d would definitely recommend to someone looking to level their truck, for the price I couldn’t see spending more the double for almost the same thing. ... show more

  • Added these to my 2006 F-150 King Ranch. Man am I glad I did...
Added these to my 2006 F-150 King Ranch. Man am I glad I did. Makes my truck look rugged and I love how aggressive the truck looks instead of sad and slumps in the front. Now it looks like it almost raises just a smidgen higher than my rear wheels but thats ok to me. The installation was quick but that's relative to the fact that my buddy works for Ford and he came to help me install it so that is definitely a time saver :) Took us about 45 minutes a side 1.5 hours in total. We did break both sway bar links taking the shocks out, but my truck has 175k miles so they were in dire need of replacement anyways. Maybe would want to buy them if your going to do this just to have them on hand. We didn't have them on hand and needed to go to the parts store so really the install would have been even shorter if not for that. ... show more
