To me about three times . To get the lcd to come on touched worked . I must have not place a ribbon on correctly. Finally 3rd times a charm . Works great. The only this that seems a little off, is the brightness. Messed with the settings to full bright . I noticed the screen itself is a little tinted . But I’m happy it works. The digitizer did restore functionality but the calibration is way off. I tried to calibrate the screen but but that did not work.

    • Fixed my 2014 MDX digitizer
This fixed my cracked digitizer on my 2014 MDX. I didn't notice the tint, or calibration issues other people mentioned. Just make sure you installed it corrected and have all the cables plugged in tight. There is a screen protector on both sides of the digitizer, make sure you remove both sides - maybe that is causing the issues that others are having. Bonus that it includes the electronic repair tape already placed on the digitizer for you. This saved me hundreds by not having to replace the entire radio. There are multiple videos on YouTube on how to do this, I was done in two hours. Would have been faster but I have the MDX with Entertainment package, so I also have to remove the DVD player before I could get to the two bottom brackets bolts of the radio. ... show more

    • An affordable replacement and convenient.
Works very well. Only downside is you lose the vibration feature. But a convenient and cheap replacement part versus replacing the entire radio unit

The media could not be loaded. Product works perfect for replacement in 2015 Acura TLX! First picture is my cracked screen and the video is of the screen finally fixed! Tried two previous brands and neither worked! So thankful!!!
