  • Breaks the Bead
Size: One Size
Took a few tires to get the hang of this but it indeed is handy for breaking the bead. I recommend using longer tire irons for removing the tire from the rim. Longer ones allow for more torque than these shorter ones. Overall good purchase!

  • Excellent tool
Size: One Size
Worked great for my very first try and changing a motorcycle tire on a Triumph Bonneville. This along with, soapy spray bottle, a set up spoons and rim protectors made this a relative breeze. Saved a ton of $$$.

  • Good set of irons
Size: One Size
These are a good set of irons that also have a bead breaker. They don't feel cheap.. as for the bead breaker part of things it's not as easy as it looks in videos to bust the bead on sportbike tires. I got the beads to break eventually, but this could have been down to the tires. As for mounting the tire with these the sturdiness, and length were great. Plenty of leverage. ... show more

  • Works...kinda!
Size: One Size
Bought to change my motorcycle tires to save some time and money. After multiple attempts, it just wouldn't break the bead because it kept slipping out of place. Once I realized what was happening, I used another pry bar to get in there and get the bead to let go while this tool held the gap open. It worked without damage and after the initial breaking of the bead, the tool worked well to release the rubber from the rim (I did use a rim protector though). It was a definite help in getting the new tire back over the rim and proved to be tough enough to handle very aggressive prying (TIP: use Windex to help slide the rubber over the rim). Overall a good investment if you find you have no option but to DIY your bike's tires. My bike is back on the road with new rubber and no rim damage so I'm ultimately satisfied... ... show more

  • This helps so much!
Size: One Size
Before this I was using two long pry bars to break the tire bead from the rim. This definitely speeds up the process! Easy to use and they paid for themselves on the first use.

  • Got an ADV bike? Get this!
Size: One Size
I found out, the hard way, that many ADV bikes use tires with a deeper bead. One that resisted my best efforts with numerous tire irons and other blunt, heavy objects. Many hours of Googling and YouTubing later- I decided to take a chance on these. Simple concept, and MotionPro always seems to use high-quality materials. Several days later, UPS dropped the Amazon box on my porch. No unboxing videos here kids, I had things unwrapped and the wheel laid out within minutes. And to my astonishment, it wasn't much longer before the rubber and the rim were living separate lives. It went something like this: -I'd already deflated the tire and removed the valve core. -Either remove your rotors or place the wheel on wood spacers to avoid damage -Now to business: Slip the two-pronged fork in between the tire and the rim. -Slip the single-prong in between the dual prongs, the lever end should be tilted UP. -Now, grip BOTH levers together and push downward. As the levers come together, the prongs separate, forcing the bead away from the rim. Give everything a little extra downward push if necessary until you hear the bead release. -repeat at few times at various points around the tire to insure the bead is completely free -turn tire over and repeat. I was thoroughly pleased with how well this tool worked. And the levers feel like they will hold up well for the long run. The have a nice grippy black oxide surface, the alloy is EXTREMELY rigid, and it just inspires confidence. Now you can lever the tires off the rim as usual. PLEASE- -use Rim Protectors. Buy 'em, borrow 'em, or make 'em out of an old milk jug. Unless you LIKE repainting your wheels often... And when time comes to mount the new rubber, try leaving the tire out in the sun for a few hours first, it makes it MUCH easier to lever on. Ride safe. ... show more

  • Must Have
Size: One Size
In comparison to the smaller version of these I’d much rather have the leverage. Not too big to where I couldn’t carry them with me if I chose to, but I do most of my tire work at home and not on the side of the road.
