I've tried a few different brands, & these work awesome! If its super buggy, I'll light 3 or 4 next to eacother - keeps the bugs away for the time being - works better then citronella candles in my opinion

    • Would be great, if only they'd keep burning.
Because I have to reignite these sticks repeatedly, I cannot recommend them. But, in fairness, I note that they seem to be effective (when burning) at repelling biting insects, and that multiple acquaintances have praised the scent.

These repellent incense sticks are the best! I have tried using many other products but nothing compares to this. They can last about 30-1hr sometimes depending on the wind and I find the smell to be pretty pleasant. Definitely recommend for mosquito season.

    • Worked surprisingly well on a camping trip!
I did some rustic camping in the Minnesota wilderness and brought along some of these natural bug repellent incense sticks. I didn't have a high bar set in terms of expectations, but they worked surprisingly well! I would create a perimeter around the campsite with about 5 going at once, and mosquitos were noticeably deterred. They do burn down VERY fast, however, so you will be replenishing them frequently. Used these on a recent camping trip and they worked fairly well. Nothing works better than deet directly on the body, but this was a pretty good alternative. We used a few in a circle around where we were sitting and it definitely made a difference! Will be great for around our back porch as well.
