  • Sound is fine.
Color: B-Box Preamp
I bought 3 Mosky pedals this week. The spring reverb, blue delay and bbox. I have all the boutique pedals and real pedals of these clones. I needed a small pedalboard to haul around to small gigs and rehearsals so I purchased these.....cheapest I think. I can't say how long they will last at thid point. They have survived 2 rehearsals and 1 gig this week alone. I am happy with them. They work for me. I use a clean Fender amp and pedals to get my sound...low watts mic'd up. Classic rock, southern rock and blues rock.....guitar hero music is what I play. No humbuckers. P90s and single coil guitars. Been playing for over 40 years. I have the best gear but no need for it. This cheap stuff works and sounds good. ... show more

  • MMmmmmmmmm Silver... get it!!!
Color: MM Overdrive
This thing has knocked all my $100+ overdrive pedals off my board... not even kidding. My Timmy used to be my sound for so many years back in the day when it had some issues, I had a couple other great $150+ OD pedals that I’ve used but then when I was looking to get a little smaller and more compact I stumbled upon a YouTube video of this little silver wonder... dude... ok so you won’t go replacing $200 od’s with this BUT DUDE... you want to sound exactly like you run an expensive OD tone stack for $25... this right here.. some say it’s a “Timmy clone” and well I can see that but honestly I kind of like this one more sometimes. It’s my go to OD on both my church and home/gigging pedalboards. Not even kidding. It saves space, money and hassle and just freaking kicks, man. It sounds full, clear, bloody, and cutting (if you want that). Both low and high tone knobs make it virtually hard to find a bad sound and really (like it’s supposed to) makes it easy to find what you want. Cleans up well with dynamics and volume knobs but I’ve noticed it always retains a special clarity and pairing it with a good compressor, it sits darn near perfectly in the band mix. Gain knob is wide ranging and predictable. I really can’t say enough about this pedal y’all. Just get it. ... show more

  • A TS Mini for 1/4 the price....
Color: Mini Screamer
If you familiar with the Ibanez Tube Screamer, then you already have an idea as to what to expect with this pedal. Yes; it's a cheap TS clone but the Mosky Mini Screamer delivers that TS sound for only $20. I also have the Mosky Deluxe Preamp so I'm familiar with the brand (FWIW: the Mosky Deluxe Preamp has both the overdrive and boost in one compact package and only cost $45 shipped.) The only thing is the month long wait for delivery that you have to deal with since its mailed from China. But when you finally get and start jamming you'll see that it was well worth the wait and price. Oh and as an FWIW; the blue LED in the center of the pedal is super-bright; some people may find it distracting in darker environments. Not a negative; just a minor nitpick. I'll try to do a follow-up post a year from now regarding its durability. ... show more

  • This pedal is like the secret ingredient to great tone
Color: Mini Screamer
This pedal is phenomenal and really shines when used in front of another overdrive or distortion pedal to bring that pedal to life. On its own it's a pretty tame overdrive pedal. Great for more conservative music like country or blues, because the tone is really good on it. However, on its own you're not gonna get any heavy metal fury out of it. The face melting comes when you pair it with another pedal or an overdriven tube amp. ... show more

  • Great pedal
Color: Mini Screamer
I have not had very good luck with the budget mini pedals, but this one sounds like a tube screamer. It is not noisy and does not alter the sound when not engaged. I have had some other "true bypass" mini pedals that noticeably altered the sound when off. It is built nice and sturdy and the switch seems very solid. ... show more

  • You really don't have to spend for classic sound.
Color: Mini Screamer
I would have gone with the real deal had I the money at the time but a ton of video reviews quickly convinced me to try it. I have an Epi SG(61 standard) with 03 humbucker on top & 04 humbucker at bridge & a Boss DS-1 driving it thru a Fender Mustang I v2 & I'm blown away at the sound. I also have a 61 SG 400 Pro with coil split & a set of Pro Buckers on this Epi. I am not needing pro equipment for I don't play for a living & the sound of this little pedal is awesome. I don't turn the pedal up past 9-10 o'clock to get that screaming & sustain. I think there's enough videos out there to defend my position. Get a power supply, you need it & it's on the small side but I don't have any problems with it that Velcro couldn't fix if I did same as any smaller pedal. I love it with all my guitars, I only have 4 but they all sound really good with that pedal ! ... show more

  • No power source!
Color: B-Box Preamp
Well, I can't really say whether this item works as advertised or not, because it comes with NO power source! That's right. To use this product you have to go out and spend more money to make it do anything! The advertisement DOES mention the power source requirement, but there is no information in the advertisement that tells a buyer that the product does NOT come with a power source, that power source is NOT a battery and that the power source costs another $10 - $15. False advertisement. ... show more

  • It has surely grown on me. Great little pedal.
Color: MM Overdrive
At first I didn’t like this pedal it just had a different sound that I wasn’t used to but after spending a little bit of time it really begins to have a nice kind of snarl and pop to it. The treble and bass controls lets me customize it greatly. I like the gain set at 9oclock, level just above unity and bas and treble at noon and 1030oclock respectively. They says it’s a Timmy clone, I can’t speak for that, but I am glad I spent the time to get to know it. ... show more
