I purchased this for my little one as he has a budding interest. It was affordable and not much more than a toy version which you cannot tune and is usually made of cheaper materials. I have tuned it up for him and played a test song, and it has better resonance than my own ukulele! I kind of wish it was for me :) Iโ€™m very pleased with the quality, itโ€™s beautiful and slightly smaller than my own.     • Hard to keep tuned

Although I was willing to deal with how easily it became untuned, it came with a booklet that literally mentioned it as a con so I wasn't planning to, as a beginner with any instrument, deal with it due to how little I know about how an instruments supposed to sound. It really did come untuned every five minutes or so. I purchased this to use as a loaner for my students. It surpassed my expectations for build quality, playability, and tone. Obviously this won't compete with instruments costing $200, but for less than $50 this is impressive. I wish I had started on an instrument this good.
