  • Went from love to like .
Was excited about getting it then realized it's made in China when I got it. Love the look of it and everything, but I was disappointed about the china part. Probably wont buy another Luna product again now. Wish I read up on it more.

  • Not what I expected
Everything was loose, neck was twisted, didn't have moon knob, was very disappointed

  • Very nice
I couldn't find a single review of even a video demo of this banjitar, so I was exciter to receive it and report back. It arrived nicely set up. The only thing you have to do is take a measuring tape and figure out where to place the bridge. The head is tight, the action is perfect. There are not apparent flaws anywhere, and it looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. The scale length is 24.5", not 25.5" as described, which feels enough like a guitar to be played like a guitar. The neck is on the thicker side, but not by much. The electric output works fine, though it sounds less like a banjo and a little more like a guitar through amplification. One reason is that the bass output is much greater when electrified, whereas acoustically the bass is next to non existent, since banjos are not really intended to dip that low to begin with. Also, if you happen to play a note that is sympathetic to the tuning of the banjo's head, it will feed back very quickly and very loudly. It's probably best mic'd, though the piezo is a nice option to have. One minor complaint is that the volume knob is not tightly attacked to the pot shaft, and it had fell off in shipment. The knob itself looks and feels nice, though. ... show more
