The paper directions it came with confused me so I followed from a YouTube video. The pole came with a CD for instructions also but honestly who still has DVD players. Feels pretty sturdy, I’m 5’3 maybe 170-180 lbs. My only issue is it is chrome so grip is something you gotta play around with.

I was able to assemble it by myself in no time. It's been up there since i got it. It moved a little after i started using it in spin mode several days in a row and didn't think to readjust, so i think that was on me. Over all worth it! i love practicing at home

The media could not be loaded. Very sturdy pole. I put it up myself watching the DVD. I am around 135lbs, but my husband is over 200lbs has taken a few test spins and it remains sturdy. I gave it a 4/5 due to the adjuster cover. The way it is set up it can not be used. Where there is supposed to be holes to pop in to place at the top of the pole there are screws and no pegs to attach it to. I don't deem it a necessity, but it looks tachy lol ... show more

It’s peeling I haven’t even had it for five months and I definitely haven’t been abusing it for it to be peeling this early I thought it was solid chrome chrome plated, so if you’re looking for something for the long run I would not suggest this per se just my opinion I got cut a couple times and I don’t want anybody else to get cut ... show more

TL;DR This was the second pole we tried, because we wanted to look for one closer to our budget. Now we know it's better to wait and save up. Go for the $150-200 level poles at least. The $30 I thought I was saving with this product was just not worthh. :( SET-UP ISSUE: These metal shavings kept falling from the parts of the pole that are meant to screw together. Some dug so far into my sister's finger that we had to set up a mini-triage with alcohol/needles/tweezers/cuticle trimmer to get all the pieces out. It took us about 10 min to get the pole together, but about ~40-45 min to take care of her hands & clean the carpets afterward. LEVELING ISSUE: Part of the pole is a little malformed towards the base, that makes it look oval rather than circular. This made it harder to level. USE ISSUE: The pole was falling down or anything, but the parts would loosen incrementally in the middle of a spin. I noticed this most when I did reverse grips & felt my wrists twist out of place as the parts came loose. ... show more
