This is a beautiful recreation of a classic Tiffany lamp and a good value for the money. It looks pretty good, especially from a distance--EXCEPT-there are several clear (or very light) round sections of glass (stones really) scattered throughout the colored glass where the light comes through and is magnified and intensified--when it hits you in the eye it is blinding. I even changed out the bulb for a lower wattage frosted bulb and it didn't help enough to make this lamp workable for me. Too bad someone made this poor design choice--all it would take is to choose a darker, more saturated stone in place of the clear ones and it would be a great lamp. I had just watched the movie "Where the Crawdads Sing", and found this beautiful Tiffany style lamp with dragonflies on it, and knew I had to get it! It's really well built, nice solid metal base, and the glass is detailed, colorful, and looks beautiful when the light turns on (Which, is was really nice they included an LED light bulb!).
