I liked the ease of intall. Took my 16 yr old and I about an hr from start to finish. That includes time of removing old one and finding tools. Seems to have more responsive acceleration off the go, also has a real nice growl sound. For the price you can't beat it.

The filter and intake pipe were fine. But the cage it comes with is a little inaccurate with the dimensions. Nothing that one drill bit couldn't fix. It would be nice if it had a splashguard on the underside as well as a water redirect to prevent water from dripping on top of the intake when driving or parked in the rain (water seeps in from the side of my hood even before installing this). The media could not be loaded. I rate the install easy for a decent mechanic. The performance is much more responsive. Added horsepower, nice looking of course. O the throttle response.

    • Causing check engine light
As soon as I placed on a 2006 GMC Sierra, I had the check engine light come on. The code was P0171 too much air less fuel ratio.
