I'm on my 4th pregnancy and have never bought a pregnancy pillow. This time around with 2 months to go it was time to buy one. I'm glad I got this pillow but also a tad disappointed. I've always slept on my left side so having the right thickness for a pillow is important for my spine. This pillow is to big to keep my neck aligned with my spine while side sleeping. Everything else about this pillow is amazing just as other reviews have stated. It's thick and fluffy, packaged extremely well upon delivery, very minimal smell coming out of the package. The support for my belly and legs was excellent. If the head rest wasn't so big this would absolutely be the perfect pillow. I did spend the extra $ for the cooling pillow. I know this is geared toward pregnancy, however I wanted to try to see if it would help me get some rest. Not only am I sleeping better, but you can use it to relax in bed and do things like read or go on tablet. The pillow is versatile, the bottom half can go under your legs ( knees for me) and it can also go above to your lap to use as a resting place for books or laptop. You can change sides depending on how you sleep. It supports your head so you really don't need a pillow for that. The first night I was like a bug in a rug. My arms no longer dangle on the sides of me, they are propped up and supported. So no more shoulder pain at night. You can make it as loose or tight against your body as you would like. It is soft material and has a zipper to take off the covering to wash. I have had no issues with being too hot . I have nooo idea why this pillow has literally cured my hip and leg pain. I’ve had this hip/leg pain for a few weeks now into my pregnancy and it has made it incredibly difficult to turn in bed and get out of bed (I usually need help). I thought getting this pillow would just make sleeping a little more comfortable but I had absolutely no idea it would literally cure my pain. I get out of bed without assistance now, and even though turning can still be a little uncomfortable, the pain has reduced by about 92%. The pillow is incredibly comfortable and I’ll be using it even after pregnancy. I feel like anyone who has back pain or hip pain should use a pillow like this for a more comfortable sleep.
