Sep 4th 2023 Bought this controller hoping to replace mine with stick drift and an X button thats smashed from kingdom hearts. I have to say, considering I am, I like to say “overly observant” when it comes to comparing something. This controller is not bad. •When it comes to connecting the controller, easy peasy, plug in the controller using the cord provided, turn it on, wait for blue light and connected. • The latency is ON POINT. • The texture of the controller is on par with Sonys • The stick are actually not bad, most cheaper controllers are a nightmare when it comes to “what are the sticks going to be like” but they are comfortable. • As for the battery life I've yet to use it on a full charge, so i will update this review once i do go through some charge cycles. Little nitpicks i would say are the button decals, but hey its just decals if the controller works how its supposed to then why be upset. The little triangle home button makes up for it, I actually prefer this over the circle. Overall at this time 5/5 from me, solid replacement for my now previous controller. 10/3/23 Been a while since this review, and I can say for the update on charging the controller, this controller keeps a charge pretty darn well! clack clack... for the price is good you will hear the click click louder the joys feels ok. like an used ps pad. and is louder. the size is bit smaller than the original, felts like ps3 pad.. for big hands wont be so confortable.. overal all compared to the original 8/10 works fine

Overall I like the product, wish it would’ve came with a manual so I could know how to pair it, but I ended up figuring it out. (it’s the same buttons as ps4) my only complaint is the triggers, and how tough the plastic is around them.

Price vs original, can't tell the difference when using. Seems to me battery last longer than original. Would recommend for anyone looking for a relacement. And yes, I would buy again.

    • Good 3rd Party replacement
This is a nice controller, and if you didn't pay attention, looks quite close to the original. The color scheme is busy, but doesn't make it feel like a wrap or a sticker, which is good. The battery life is comparable to the Sony version, and the buttons are not squishy or stiff like most 3rd party offerings. This controller is "recognized" unlike some of the 3rd party PS4 controllers, the PS4 doesn't spam you about not having an official controller. This is a great 2nd or even 3rd controller for your PS4... and if you don't have the skills to replace the battery in your official controller, this is a great substitute. Long term use is still pending, but so far... it's been solid. ... show more

    • Best replacement controller
For everyone that tried repairing their DualShock 4 controller or broke it, I highly suggest you get this controller. It is exactly like the DualShock 4 but has a different design for the triangle, square, x, and circle. Also if you have mic problems I highly suggest you make sure you push your headsets wire in a little more because I’ve had it sticking out a little and I’ve been having mic issues and thought it was because this controller is a fake DualShock. Also the buttons and pad are a little sticky, I don’t know if I’m just imaging it since I’m pressing too hard but it’s hardly noticeable and won’t annoy you. ... show more
