Received this grill last week and I have used it twice so far. I have owned Weber charcoal kettles, a Weber Genesis gas grill and a Big Green Egg and used them all for various things. I recently moved and needed something smaller so I got this 2-burner Monument. I assembled it myself without issue. There were a couple of drawings that didn't seem to make sense but Monument has put assembly videos on YouTube so that helped in the couple spots where I struggled. The shelves are meant to be raised and lowered as you wish so I keep them down and use a cover when I'm not using the grill and then raise them when I need them which is nice. I got it out onto the balcony and it fired up on the first try. I left the one burner on MAX and didn't quite reach 400° so I turned on the other burner on low and went just above 400. I did burgers on the first session and some chicken on the second. Both sessions were great and I even got some comments from the neighbors saying that it smelled great. So far everything is looking pretty good. There is a USB port which supports an LED light but I feel like the port and one of the shelves are fighting for space so I have disconnected the light for now. There is also a button to turn on the light and when that lights up, the dials for the grill light up as well. Everything feels solid and well-built to me. Great looking high quality grill! I was very impressed with this grill. I didnt want to spend $550 on a Webber Spirit. I ended up liking this one better. Pros: 1. Window on the top is a game changer. I can monitor any flarups without cooling the grill down if I open the lid. You won't think you need this feature until you have it. 2. The grill was packed very well. Nothing was damaged during shipping even though I could tell the box had seen some things. 3. High quality parts. The stainless steel was protected well and was almost flawless. A few minor blemishes but I only noticed because I was searching for them. 4. Price is about $200 less than an equivalently sized Weber, has better features, and is equal in quality. 5. Instructions were easy to read and took me 1hr and 45min to put together. Could have done it faster but took my time to be sure not a scratch it. 6. LED lights were not needed but a fun feature when grilling for a party. Cons: 1. A lot of small pieces to put together. 2. Heat diffuser is thin so the grill has hot spots directly over the burners. Most grills in this price range will all have this issue. Just takes practice to learn the hot spots and rotate your food around. Overall great grill. Very happy with my purchase. ... show more

I originally wanted a $700 Weber gas grill but after extensive home renovations this year, I had to settle on a more affordable grill. I am really impressed with this grill. It is very responsive to temperature adjustments and has a design that supports easy clean up. I commonly grill at night and my patio light is not the brightest. I love the little LED wand that I can tilt over the grill cooking area...so no matter how dark it is, I can always see what I'm doing. This is an amazing value for the price! I would buy again. The only less than positive comment I have is that the assembly was not intuitive (and instructions could be better). But after about 3 hours of assembly, it all came together very nicely. I figured with the $450 cost savings (over the Weber), I could easily give up another hour for assembly. UPDATE: I have had this grill for over a year now and am well pleased! What a bargain and works like a champ. I love the LED wand that I turn on when grilling at night. It really helps me see the wellness of the meat. ... show more

This bbq has been great. Living near the water I have had to buy a new bbq every year due to rust issues even after keeping it covered. This bbq is well made and so far seems pretty durable. I have seen some minor rust spots on the door trim areas and some minor spotting on the stainless surfaces. I clean it weekly and overall still looks great. Love the see through glass, the light up knobs and the led light attachment. The door access for the propane tank installation is great. Definitely worth the higher price. ... show more
