After a few months of gentle use, some products broke and despite the company claiming to offer a lifetime warranty, experiences with their customer service varied.

Pros

  • 🙂 Affordable pricing
  • 😊 Good quality
  • 👍 Clear glass
  • ✅ Easy mountability

Cons

  • 😥 Warranty service might be challenging

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a budget-friendly scope with good clear visuals and easy set-up, Monstrum Banshee LPVO might be a good fit. However, be aware of the potential risk factor in terms of longevity and the company's warranty service. If these factors aren't deal-breakers for you, the product could be worth giving a shot.

  • great purchase, keeps pace with the big dogs!
Style Name: Black | MX1 Reticle
i bought a spectre 1-6 a few months after they came out, got this as a gift for my girlfriend for her first AR-15. its alot cheaper than the sprectre, it weighs less, feels sturdier, and it tracks within 1/4 moa any direction, hers has been tossed around, thrown against barricades (while shooting, not being wreckless) and it holds zero very well, the lens clarity is up there with vortex and bushnell for a fraction of the price, the only slight complaint i have is to zero the turrets you have to have an allen key to remove the cover, but thats objective i suppose. ... show more

  • Functionality and Ergonomics ! UPDATE !
Style Name: Black | MX1 Reticle
The Scope holdes Zero quite well @ 120ish rounds so far So Good. The mount that comes with it is a nice bonuses as these can get well into the $100s, I would prefer that the scope offered a cantilever focus that is more easily accessible is my only drawback however it's a Really good scope for the price and the image is clear and crisp, I do think this is a Bargin for a quality scope. 250RDS Holds Zero, let me add some pros to this, the Scope Has nice weight to it feels good. The Focal lever is low profile and is just a tad on the stiff side However it's not really that bad and I'd rather it be more on the stiff side then loose and again this maybe only the New scope Breakin period it may slowly get lighter the more she Goes pew pew pew pew.... That said, Great sight Box, Definition nice and bright lines clean sharp image and Crissssp. I Would Give it A 5 Star if I wasn't super analytical with Holding Zero, Will review at 500rds So far This is a scope I'll be purchasing AGAIN FOW SHOW! LOL 10.5 Brl Rugger .556 And super Gasy Like chili night adding to the rocking shocking and she steadily Holding Zero Like muah! 👍 I recommend Go for it, It's a 300 dollar scope easy that'ds not counting the Cantilever excellent deal! :imho: ... show more

  • First impressions are good..Replaces 2 scopes.
Style Name: Black | MX1 Reticle
I'm writing this review too soon since I haven't actually tried it out, but out of the box, I like it. It looks well built, sturdy, and the optics are very good. The mount looks good and sturdy but I didn't use it in favor of a quick detach mount. It is a little on the heavy side, but it I think it will do the job of 2 scopes. Let me explain. I had been looking for a red dot scope for pig hunting in close quarters, but couldn't find the right one despite trying several. I accidentally came across this scope. Since it goes down to 1x power and it has a lighted reticle, you can use it in the same manner as a red dot, both eyes open. AND.....Since it goes up to 6x power, it useful for those longer shots as well. Best of both worlds, except it is much heavier than a red dot. So.... For the price of a pretty good red dot scope, I have both. The one thing that I didn't like on first inspection is the back lens cap. It fits too loosely and I usually flip the cap off rather than opening it as intended. Not sure how to correct this issue. I'll update after taking it into the field if I have any issues. Lifetime warranty...I like it. ... show more

  • Better than expected
Style Name: Black | BDC B1 Reticle
The scope is a happy surprise. Banshee, 1-6X BDC B1. Quality, clarity and reticle design is better than expected. Really is a value for the money. The fact that it also comes with an off-set mount is really a good deal. If you are looking for a LPVO that is duel duty, close to med distance, this is the scope for you. The 1X setting is great for close target awareness and appears to be a true 1X both eyes open, it is good.... all other settings are clear and bright to 6X. Very happy so far. Durability is yet to be seen but looks promising. Good job Monstrum. ... show more

  • Monstrom Banshee LPVO
Style Name: Black | BDC C1 Daylight Bright Reticle
This is really great quality especially for the price. It only took a few minutes to install, you will need use a level to install it and get it on correctly but only takes a few minutes to install. Clarity is amazing, could see very well with it. Only thing I'd complain about so far is the lens covers I'd prefer if they layed completely flat and out the way more and the rear one didn't want to stay in place but overall the optic itself is really good quality for the price. ... show more

  • Okay, hear me out
Style Name: Black | BDC B1 Reticle
I gave it a 5 star rating simply due to the fact that it is priced so low. If this optic was $250, I would have given it 4 stars, if it was $400, I would have given it 3 stars, and so on. The clarity of the glass is actually pretty impressive, comparing it to two other LPVOs (Athlon Argos BTR 1-8 and a Vortex Viper 1-6), the monstrum seemingly has clearer glass than the Athlon, but obviously falls short of the Viper. Build quality is adequate. Also, take the price point of $130 including a scope mount, crazy value. Often times, mounts are upwards of $130. Sure, its just a basic 1-6, but the quality is good, and it holds a zero (at least on my 6.5 Grendel). If you are on a tight budget, and are looking to get into LPVOs, give it a shot. ... show more
